47:55 This hit hard... as a teenager who feels like he's moving away from God, this part really struck me. I know God is there for me and I know He loves me, and lately I haven't been able to say I've been doing the same. Please pray I have a better relationship with Him.

I've been asking God why I feel so unsatisfied with life. No matter how much I seem to pray & seek God, I still feel like there's something missing.
I suppose that this is my answer.
Even though my intentions with God are pure, there is still a huge part of me that wants to be validated by people. I know that I shouldn't need or want other people's validation. There are so many things that I've twisted around in my head about God in order to suit my own personal needs. I walk around hoping that someone may notice that I really am a good person. I do have talent, but God has hidden it for the time being. I just wish someone would notice my value, and that someone would appreciate me. I feel like I'm stuck in the past, in a time where I felt helpless and misunderstood by my peers. I feel like I'm stuck in a time where no one cared to hear what I had to say, and my own words would used agaisnt me in the wrong context. I still feel like there are eyes on me even though there isn't. I still feel like I'm being judged. The worst part is, even when people do acknowledge and compliment me, I am never able to really let that compliment sink in. Instead, I feel an overwhelming pressure to do better. It wasn't until recently that I took notice of the fact that I dream about "doing/being better" on a consistent daily basis. I think that I offer a lot, but at the same time don't measure up to society standard. I so badly want to do God's work. But even then, will I ever be enough?
No one has to know who I really am, for the Father does.
Trying to prove myself to others will do me no good.

What you wrote sent shivers down my spine!! Because you are NOT alone in your feelings because I feel the exact same way as you do! I have this hope for you, me and all of the other people who are feeling THIS same way! My hope is that we realize what is going on within each one of us AND what and who is the one that is causing this within each of us, right? I just finished watching and listening to another sermon from Pastor Steven F. that was published on 5/26/2020, titled, “You Can’t Let Others Control You”, is a great sermon to hear, and it’s less than 18 minutes long. That sermon referred me to this full sermon (Published on 01/20/2020).
I’m sorry this comment is so long Mykayla! This is something that is on my heart for some reason and I try very hard to listen to HIS still small voice!
Although I don’t know you at all Mykayla, I could feel the pain in your heart as I read your eloquently and beautiful words in your comments! Mykayla, I hope you know that you have a wonderful gift 🎁 of writing! If you don’t do this professionally, then you may want to consider it! Cuz I gotta say I think it may be a calling for you 🙏🏻 And ya know people can have more than one calling 🤗 ! I’m more than likely to be quite a bit older than you, but we are both a Child of GOD, and Sisters in JESUS CHRIST, right? .... 🙃 Back to my point now.
I am fairly new to Pastor Steven F. and I truly love the way he preaches!! I have found that I love a lot of different Pastors now and each one of them teaches me what I need! I’ve also found that when the devil distracts me and discourages me, and he does this on a daily basis and throughout my entire day, too, it seems to be those times that I get caught up in his lies and destruction in my life and my heart! (Uh BTW, it’s kinda saddens me to realize that he has been doing this for years now and I’m just now realizing it!) Please don’t give up Mykayla!! Please let yourself just Be! ... But find your Rest in JESUS CHRIST!! By reading HIS Word! When I become Sooo overwhelmed with life, I begin to read GOD’S WORD, I find some of my favorite passages of Scripture and read them. Someone told me to read GOD’S PROMISES aloud, reading one of them at a time and then reflecting on it (still not sure how I’m doing in this particular area!) 😉 I was told to get sticky notes and write the ones I need to hear or I just want to have available for me to see!
Again, I am sorry for my lengthy comments to you! This is just one of my weaknesses! Remember that YOU ARE LOVED! GOD LOVES YOU MYKAYLA!! THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE LOVES YOU DEAR ONE! And HE wants to BLESS YOU with all of HIS BLESSINGS! (I try to wrap my head around that about me, and I gotta say it’s really really hard for me!). This is a huge confirmation for me. During Covid-19, God has been able to do A LOT of healing within me. But once God wanted to deal with my self-esteem, I shut down and began running from Him. Due to your well-timed comment, I can feel God chasing me down and pulling me back. THANK YOU.
This message really moved me.. I'm so thankful God saw, He saw me through the toughest times when no one else came to my rescue. He saw all my highs and the lows that are too bad to mention and even after i backslid he welcomed me home with love and my life has changed completely and in so many wonderful ways.. all because He loves me an He sees me through x

God is delivering me from my meth addiction,dysfunction & my troubled mind. I am growing closer to Jesus everyday. He is giving me strength even with my chronic fatigue syndrome. I still get tired but my strength is growing in Jesus.
This is a perfect example of a FATHERS LOVE, which is why it is So Hard for me..it is just Unfathomable for me to understand how there is so much Domestic abuse and Child abuse in this world..how any parent could abuse and hurt their own child or any child, day after day year after year and excuse their behavior as discipline or even Great parenting, or tough love😭 there is so much Pain & suffering in the world today, my ❤ is DECIMATED knowing there are thousands of people and children suffering daily in abusive situations 😭

I’ve been saved since I was ten years old. I’ve felt the power of God. I know him and I love him, but this message kept striking me in my heart. I know I have faults and just knowing that God sees past what no one else can see and sees a reflection of himself in me? Me?? Glory 😭😭

I was the drug addict that went to church I wanted to be free but I wasn't I keeped praying and going to church I got saved and got delivered from Meth ,Heroin, pills I have been clean for 3years going on 4 let me say I have No desire for drugs at all I want to thank God for everything he's done if you don't know him repent for your sins and ask God to come into your heart and serve him with your full heart he can do all things there's nothing that God can not do

Often the greatest proof your doing good in God's site is that your taken for granted in people site. What is seen isn't always whats most signifigant. Alot of times things that u can't measure matters the most. What people are most likely to celebrate are least likely to satisfy. The Father sees. God sees in u what often people dont!🙏

so true, again, so true. been dying inside for about 4 yrs and really at the point where i just have to surrender all. I have done well and bad and then well again but still emptiness is always there until I recognized that only Jesus... only Jesus. the only time I truly feel significant is when I read the scriptures that tells me about my FAther in heaven, the removal of the veil and the impossibility of being separated from God's love. survived abuse, survived bankruptcy, survived raising disabled child, survived almost divorce. as long as the father is still seeing then Im good.
I too have survived raising a son with severe mental and emotional disabilities! It’s a miracle I’m not in a loony bin! Glory be to God!
