I just rode these a few minutes ago, and while I might make a video to show this, I think this is worth a mention. I don’t know when it happened (it likely just happened given the entire south elevator ball was closed), but on both sets of elevators, the exterior lanterns have been swapped out with metal egg lanterns on a square backing. Accompanying them is the new Otis chime. Thankfully, the interiors are completely untouched on the north bank. I don’t know if that will be the case for much longer, though, given the south bank was blocked off with construction barriers on the 16th floor.
I can remember riding these elevators when my parents and sisters and I stayed at that resort way back in 2003. Yes, they had the character voices when I was riding them. Plus I think the removal of character voices sometime before when you filmed these would have been due to maintenance costs.
When I rode these back in 2011 they were Otis series 1. According to an employee I talked these were installed in 1971 with otis lexan and modded with westinghouse in some unknown year in the late 80s/ early 90s the elevators were completely ripped out and replaced with series 1 elevonic 401 and modded with series 2 in 2013-2014

I believe this is the main building (the A-frame), and the next 2 videos are at Bay Lake Tower.
I personally liked these better with series 1. I got to ride these back when they were series 1
Fantech104 and airplanegod have videos of these when they were series 1.
They started modding these in 2013 and finished the last one in fall 2014
They discontinued it in 2005 I want to say, however they did not discontinue series 2 MODS.
The current OTIS fixtures in production are Series 7 ( most common on new installations )series 6 and series 4
I see that they finished the elevator modernization since the last time I was there.
I Rode Those Here Like 3 Weeks Ago And The highest Floor I got Up To 4 Because The Other Floors Are locked Because Of Renventation
I have some great news to tell you: THEY BROUGHT THE CHARACTER VOCIES BACK TO THESE!! :D.
Those are Series 2
+technicalboy “techgeek5000” 3000 yeah I rode these when they were series 1
Airplanegod and Fantech104 have vids of these when they were series 1
It would be interesting to hear Mickey Mouse’s voice in this elevator.
They have since added the Mickey and friends’ voices to these elevators, they can be heard when you arrive at a floor.
I believe that's a Series 2.

Superduper Julien Sounds like you know a lot about these elevators.
I live in Florida myself and talked to some employees here
Superduper Julien That's what I thought.
Westinghouse did not exist in the 90s. By the way, this is Series 2.
these were originally 80's series 1 last time i was here. One was modded for series 2.
I went there before
But didn't film
Otis series 4. Not 7
I rode these back when they were Otis series 1
@ElevatorNut13 Nope. Series 2. This is a mod.
Series M2
No, it’s Series 2. M2 has lower pitched floor passing chimes and the numbers on the brailles are not white.
Missing a floor I see (rolls eyes)
13? The thing is that approximately 85% of high rise elevators lack a 13th floor because superstitious people feel safer without it.
