Nice Otis Series 2 High-Speed Elevators at Drury Plaza in San Antonio, TX. with Xmas Light buttons!

Filmed on January 29, 2017: Since Christmas is approaching in 4 days, here is a ride on the tastefully modernized vintage Otis elevators with the Series 2 fixtures that features Christmas Lights on certain floors!!! :D The mod on these were nicely done, but I wished they never bothered to replace the floor indicator (see Neimen Marcus of Houston Galleria). Other than that, Otis did a good job upgrading these, and I LOVE the wooden cabs with the mirrors inside them!!! :D Although I'd prefer the old Otis ones, this is still great! Like I said, the Christmas Light feature on the call stations were AMAZING!!!! :D With that said, enjoy the video! Installed in 1929, modernized in 1966 & 2007.

Hey jim! This is what i call the best way to start the celebration of Christmas. The Christmas lightings are awesome. Green means Up 🔼💚 Red means Down🔽❤️The chimes i heard in the lobby were similar to the chimes of Series 7. I wish you a Very MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄.

These are series 4. Series 2 has flush mount call stations. Series 4 is surface mount which is what is shown in this video
Also, I have suspicions that these were lexans before they were modernized as the service has lexans

I’ve always thought these are Series 2 like every single video I have watched, just based on that small square floor position indicator on a surface mounted COP. Series 4 uses that big rectangle floor indicator on a flush mounted COP.
