Well lads, Sandor Martin showed his boxing skills at Madison Square against an american opponent where the judges gave the victory to Lopez who never knocked down to Sandor and he did it twice. Not easy to fight in a different country for Sandor who deserved clearly to be the winner. On the 1st round Lopez broke Sandor nose with a header, so imagine how difficult is to fight 30min with a broken nose. Keep going Sandor... You will become world champion for sure 🥊🏆

Sandor Martin was robbed. He clearly out boxed Lopez. Admittedly Lopez was the aggressor, but he was ineffective at best.
Lopez looks like the same fighter that lost to Kambossas. Hands down, lunging forward, looping shots, looking for the K.O. Teofimo gotta get back in the lab and focus on the basics. He could be something special if he gets them down.
He did a lot worse against kambosos,he fought better against martin but martin is a long southpaw.

Yeah, but give Sandor some credit. His ring generalship, albeit awkward, combined with him being a southpaw, give people problems. This fight could have gone either way. Anyway, Sandor is better than people give him credit for. And btw, Sandor is now Devin's mandatory.

That ref should be reprimanded for that second knockdown he called a slip...ridiculous
Maybe but when a conventional fighter faces a southpaw, the ref is going to be looking at their feet, and in this case their legs got crossed up, which if you slow it down you can see Teo's left foot get twisted, which is why he'd be justified in calling it a slip. But I think there's a good argument to be made that it was Sandor's right hook that caused the knock down as well. But no one should be reprimended for this call given the totality of what was happening. Now if we look at the Devin Ryan fight, that is a whole different level of non-calls for knock downs.

Lopez was the aggressor but Martin was controlling the fight. Martin outboxed Lopez. There faces and energy at the end said it, Lopez look almost like he knew martin deserved it.

*Más golpes y agresividad de López, Sandor tiró poco.
*Martín ganó un par de rounds.
Resultado: pelea muy cerrada, 1 punto arriba cualquiera de los 2 o empate.
Los 2 jueces q dieron 3 y 5 puntos a Teo estaban comprados.

(1) totally different fight where teo was keeping range and not coming forward, super aggressive, but nullifying Loma's pivots and outboxing him, easily his best performance ever... there was no openings for counter check right hooks like this fight except in the second half on the inside when Loma was forced to press where
(2) Loma did indeed use right hooks in the second half when he was forced to come forward, it wasnt that bad and stop crying about the shoulder and get over it teo had the perfect gameplan and he was injured as well, Loma and many other true champions fight injured and win with them all the time it is part of the game

Martin has skills but Lopez did not make any adjustments. Clearly Martin did the same thing all fight long which was time Lopez coming in with the check hook. Instead of jumping in Lopez could have used different variations of the Jab along with faints, took his time to place punches to set Martin up and cut the ring off to avoid chasing him you can make a fighter fight without throwing punches Cutting the ring off over and over is a lot of mental pressure on a guy being walked down on top of all things Lopez didn’t go to the body enough.

Teofmimo llevó la iniciativa y el ataque todo el combate, propinando mas, mejores, y mas claros golpes, mientras Sandor se mostraba huidizo en su obsesión por boxear solamente a la contra en toda la contienda. Llevar la iniciativa en boxeo también puntúa mucho, y mas en un campeonato.
Soy español, y creo que lo que debería hacer Sandor es felicitar al ganador en lugar de buscar polémicas donde no existen.

Ni la prensa de su país la de New York en concreto le vio como ganador a Teofimo, es más la gran mayoría ha sido muy critica, ni el público por eso esos pitidos tras la decisión arbitral ni la propia WBC que era el organismo regulador de ese combate, que este lunes lo ha subido en el ránking de 5 al 3, y al vencedor con Robo pero vencedor de la eliminatoria oficial no lo han colocado como aspirante oficial tiene a Pedraza delante por lo tanto el campeón no tendrá que hacer la defensa obligatoria con Teófimo que por ganar la eliminatoria oficial tendria que ser el aspirante oficial pero parece ser que para ellos no gano, solo tres veces han echo eso con el ganador de la eliminatoria oficial en los últimos 25 años, si quiere la defensa obligatoria la puede hacer con Pedraza porque es el aspirante oficial o si quiere con Teófimo que gano la eliminatoria ofial aunque fue un robo, parece ser que solo esos jueces de Top Rank vieron ganar a Teo..

This was (at best) a draw all day long. Martin should've gotten credit for that second knock down that was almost identical to the first one. If Martin was 10 percent better he would've easily gotten the win. Don't see Lopez beating Ryan Garcia, Gervonte Davis, Or Devin Haney... but then again, they'll all trash talk until they're blue in the face but nobody will sign to fight each other.
Not even with {Regis Prograis, Sándor Martin, Jose Zepeda, Jack Catterall}.
And maybe not with:

Jose Carlos Ramirez, Russell, Zarza Ribera labor, Arnold Barboza, Jose Pedraza.
At the first watch, I had it maybe a few rounds for Lopez but I could see the argument made for Martin in a few closer rounds.
Martin gave a pretty damn good spirited performance, credit due to him. He was a big reason why Teofimo looked bad, off, his rhythm disrupted like that. That was Martin making it that way.
That said, Teofimo didn't suck but he did look like something wasn't right with him. Personal problems I don't know.
Whenever I see someone showing up with multiple new tattoos (esp of their kids) i worry some spiral is on the way.
Sándor is certainly much better than I thought, for me Martín won without a doubt, but Teofimo yes that since the fight with Loma his level has dropped a lot, his corner is a disaster but his head also does not work and it is a pity but I also think he may be in decline..

He was jabbing but the problem is teofimo boxes as if he has a super long reach he try’s to stay on the outside and outclass opponents but to make contact it requires him to lung in to reach them, his style works well against short/smaller opponents like loma but he struggles every time against somebody his size or taller. Hate to say it but Haney and shakur would probably win every single round against him if he continues to box with the same style and not make proper adjustments other than that he’s very skilled but needs to realize he can’t use this style against shakur or Haney. He got outboxed by kambosos, he needs to be a little more ferocious and use that power he has

@@taisukegoto1937 boxing is scored by individual rounds. Round of 10. If you get knocked down once, you have to win 7 rounds. Over come than hump. The fight was somewhat close and subjective.
Martin was slipping and moving popping a couple shots at a time, but teo was landing the bigger shots through the night. I don’t see it as a robbery. But it could have gone either way, perhaps slightly favoring Martin
Teo did decent against this south paw. It looked awkward , but not controversial in my opinion. Judges look at a lot of different things.
