They'll go after the lowest maintenance guy on the ladder....
So why was it allowed to leave

That's how it works in America and then blame you for ruining the equipment that needs maintenance that you reported about but yet management forces you to keep operating the equipment then fires you.
Sue the ship company, make them pay for the damages
The Head of the Port should be held accountable.
As we know....
EVERYTHING STARTS AT THE TOP! Why were corners being cut? It would appear that this is a learned behavior. A lot of our leaders in Maryland have learned bad behaviors from previous leaders.
Everything is falling apart due to all of it.
Something else that only a few alternative news outlets are reporting on. The crew of the ship are still on the ship. They have been confined to quarters and not allowed to leave. Their cellphones were also confiscated. It's been two months and they've been basically quarantined to the ship. Why?
Because the crews don't have visas. They are not allowed off the berth where the boat is docked. I've been a longshoreman at Baltimore for 5 years. The farthest those guys go is to the end of the ramp to buy stuff from supply trucks.

To everybody who is going nuts trying to convince us that this was some big conspiracy or terrorism, the disappointing (for you) truth is that human carelessness is far and away the most common cause of all disasters. Boring old not thinking, not using common sense, or trying to hide stupidity.
Really? You want the rest of us to ignore all of the fake "facts" and armchair nautical experts to just accept that humans are frail and screw up once in awhile? That sounds boring and unfortunately true.

The crew are contractors to the ship owners, so if they can pin in on the crew that would tend to let the owners off the hook. UNLESS the crew can show that the owners did not provide sufficient training/resources for them to be able to do their job.
Deferred maintenance. These guys run the ships until they fail.
And they allowed that Cargo ship to depart anyway? Wow!
Am I the only one that finds it suspicious that we've had two bridges crashed by ships within the past couple months. Homeland security had better investigate both of these bridge crashes for terrorist attacks.
they're too busy ignoring the illegal immigrants.
They are going to try and determine if the earlier power outages had anything to do with the one before they hit the bridge? Well DUH
Didn't they say that back when it happened?
Nah, this report is saying that there were 2 earlier blackouts that happened before the ship even left the port… in addition to the 2 we already saw on the collapse video. So the ship lost power 4 times at least.
Yes they did day this within the first 12 hours from eyewitnesses. However all info and reporting I received that first 12 hours were scrubbed and my inquisitive questions remained ignored until today. 50 days later. Let's see how they'll spin this. A.) Who greenlighted the Dali as seaworthy when it's electrical problems were not resolved. B.) The Dali summoned 2 escort tugboats while in channel for assistance. Yet somehow the tugs disembarked before reaching open water. Coincidentally the Dali lost main power, then backup power and finally emergency power as well failed. Why?
To further add to our questions, whoever was in command decided to drop anchor causing the ship to veer starboard. Why? The anchor would prove to be ineffective with all of that weight and mass. I thought these people were supposed to know hos%what and why to operate such a vessel? Day 50. Waiting for all conclusinary reports from NTSB, FBI and Coast Guard. Where's are transportation secretary Ms Pete the answer everything know everything transportation Czar?
@demariushenderson1802 They said, at the time it happened, they had problems while docked.

@@dkajj to whom are you referring?
There was a local news outfit that reported on this within an hour of the incident (there was a vid here on you tube) and had an interview with a female dockworker giving details. Then nothing.
That's because our Union told us to not talk to the press.
a number of relevant reports were spot on during the first 12 hours of the incident. Then all important video and reports were scrubbed and most news sources were sticking to 'government experts' denying or deferring responsibilities to NTSB, FBI and Coast Guard. I was able to connect the dots in those first 12 hours. Everyone was chastising me for bringing up reasonable and important questions.
Let's see how much longer the conclusinary and investigative reports will take and hopefully we'll get some factual and honest answers.
Reconfigured the electrical system? Not good, not good.
Most ships have more than one generator; most have 2, 3, 4 or more, with 3 being the most common. Reconfiguring the electrical system could simply mean transferring the electrical loads from one generator to another. On many boats, this is a process and a manual process called syncing the generators. Done correctly, no one knows that it's switched. Done incorrectly, you can blow circuits, or blow fuses & lose power for some time to boot.
There's also usually an emergency generator, but that takes usually somewhere in the range of 30 seconds to 3 minutes to start up and provide power.
I was once stationed on a military vessel, in an area that you would not want to be without power.. Had a guy that was an "IDIOT" and he swapped over the generators and tripped all the breakers and blew fuses, taking out the two primary generators and the backup generator all in one shot. The vessel was literally down for over 30 days in essentially a war zone. A well trained & patient technician can swap over the generators in a matter of a few minutes, repeatedly, time after time. ; it's the idiots that rush things and don't pay attention to details that screw things up. Typically you don't switch over generators while maneuvering, or anywhere where it adds additional risks. There is always the risk of component failure as well; civilian ships are known to be lacking in maintenance of their equipment. On many commercial cargo ships, maintenance is almost a joke; really really bad.
@@MrPir84free It could be a sync problem but it is much more likely a load share problem between parallel generators.
Trip outs due to poor load share usually occure some time (minutes or a couple hours) after the units are sync and running with shared load.
I will never trust the news
Breaking news! We knew that already
There's more to it than were being told you can bet on that
EXACTLY Why did Biden IMMEDIATELY say it wasn't a terrorist attack?? Why did he immediately say the taxpayers would pay for it all??

That ship should never have been allowed to leave port until it was seaworthy.
Is that so why the pilot onboard allowed ships to leave and the assistance of tugboat
I could see a pilot not being aware of events that happened ten hours earlier....
Apparently the captain found out one of the road workers was doinking his wife so he killed him.
Tragic really.
Women always cause a problem so I stay away from ‘em!
Drop anchor on to what? Thick mud? There is nothing for the anchor to grab in that area of the Bay and every Harbor pilot (who was onboard included) knows it. They expect the public to be ignorant and most are.
it was a last ditch effort
Who the heck is doing inspections? They need to be fired!
Guess we know who should be paying for the bridge.
yep this was known and reported the same day of the crash..
Those recent plant failures should have required a tug escort out to sea. 😡
Out to sea from the port is a long way. This method worked well since 1977.
@@bwelc0076 I'm more familiar with the Pacific. Six hours from Tacoma to letting off the pilot. But we had tug requirements in Kodiak, Alaska, and other ports as preventative measures for weather, etc. But I would still wonder if the pilot on the Dali had been informed about the recent power plant failures? Thirty years later, I can still remember the stress of when our container ship lost steering for just moments off of the Kenai Peninsula. I can't fathom risking a completely dark ship while transiting past so much infrastructure. I can understand needing to leave a dock on time. But I bet that the company wished that they had paid extra for more time at an anchorage to run more tests and to do more than fast repairs.
Everyone is blaming the crew and the pilot, while the ship's builder, Hyundai (yep, that mega corporation that also makes cars), seems to be getting away without any trouble.🤔
Why are they still on board?
So the ship lost power the day before and the captain thought, "lets go for it to Sri Lanka "with a gazillion ton cargo, what could possibly go wrong on a 4000 mile voyage ? A junk heap of a ship that couldn't even make it out of the harbor and caused a terrible disaster and loss of life. He should be arrested. Next time every ship gets a tug boat escort out of the harbor under the next bridge
How many Blackouts did the demolition crew have while they were rigging up their Fireworks 💥 ?
Port is the entire area. Dock is what they pulled away from...
It never left port. It hit a bridge before leaving.
Call me crazy,, but it looks like the ship was driven directly into the bridge 🤔🤨
Yes, You're crazy.
It was, they dont want Biden to look bad for his ineffective leadership so it was just an accident 😂

@@AC-re9ee oh boy another Orange Turd cultist spewing garbage.
They dropped an anchor in an effort to slow/stop the ship. Sadly, dropping an anchor can also turn a ship.

Those filipinos and Indian crew stay on the ship 6 to 8 months at a time. 50 days is nothing 😂
Wow. Is the San Francisco Bay Bridge that easy to make mistakes like that!? They should turn Alcatraz into a hospital. 😯
CHECK WHAT FUEL THEY WERE TRYING TO BURN.
Uh oh!
I would love to know about the layered ownership that protects the owners from liability. Those poor guys still on board.! Why can't they be onshore?
No way they're risking the wrong crew member talking to the press. Even a non-suspect phrase could be turned into a lawsuit.
"The executives want this cargo delivered ASAP whether the ship has power or not; they'll get a bigger bonus if they exceed Wall Streets predictions for this quarter". The brain-dead US corporate mentality strikes again.
Sorry, there is more than one power plant on that ship! If the lights went out the palpation would still operate, and the navigation would not be affected!! Try again NTSB STOGES
Having served on military vessels for 15 years, this is generally true; but in most cases, only one generator is running at a time. And there's usually an emergency generator that serves as a back up to the two primaries; and as long as every tech involved is well trained and the equipment well maintained, there should not be any issues. In the military, this is generally true- with well trained techs (most of the time) and well maintained equipment. . But on lots of cargo ships, especially civilian/maritime equipment, maintenance is almost a joke; they wait till things fail before they ever try to maintain the equipment; but then it's too late.
On most vessels, if you lose a primary generator, it usually takes 30 seconds to a few minutes for the emergency generator to come online. If you lose a primary generator, and the other primary is not online, it still takes a few minutes to fire up the other primary. In most cases, the emergency generator will come online before a tech can fire up the offline primary generator and bring it online.
Anyone got an eye on Dedsec?

That was obvious ABC, in the original video when it happened
i would hate to be the captain of a ship, and the owner of it. i think he might be going to jail for it for a bit. and ealy a good fine to.

I wonder how those blackouts occurred? 🤔😂
Singapore-based Grace Ocean Private Ltd. owns the Dali, the vessel that lost power before it slammed into the bridge early last Tuesday. Synergy Marine Pte Ltd., also based in Singapore, is the ship’s manager.
More lies. (Like the "fiery but mostly peaceful protests")
If the ship "lost power", how was the engine still running?
See those huge black plumes billowing out of the smoke stack moments before impact? That's called exhaust. It's the result of combustion...from an ACTIVE ENGINE! The ship was intentionally going astern, with the engine on full blast, in order to veer toward the pylon.
People can claim all they want that the ship didn't have power, however, the VISIBLE EVIDENCE proves otherwise.
I wasn't aware that cargo ships had engines that enabled steering. Propulsion =/= steering.
Going astern means the propellers were reversed, genius. The evidence is the blackouts.
Apparently my sources are saying one of the road crew guys was doinking the captains wife!
The captain got wind of it and like you said rammed the bridge and killed the guy.
AG Garland is rumored to be calling for the crew to be charged with premeditated murder.
LOCK THEM UP!
@@ricksonora6656 @skyeiv8471
When a single propeller engine goes astern, the ship doesn't go "backward". The way the propeller spins forces the stern to port (i.e. left) and the bow to go to starboard (i.e. right).
That's how ships work. Read up on it.
All planned , like the college protests !
We want our tax money back with interest from tge gardian of this ship!!! It eas preventable!!!

If you think this is a accident you are lame
Some other problems was in the anchor, before the ship coming inside. All the problems before the ship leaving the pier and ruin the bridge lead to a clear evidence, local port authorities and pilot station are out of order ! Ship was not ready for the sea ! Seaworthiness is the condition of a vessel that makes it fit for its intended voyage. A seaworthy vessel can withstand the sea's ordinary perils and safely transport its crew and cargo. Seaworthiness refers to all the features of a vessel that affect its ability to stay at sea in all conditions and carry out its intended mission. These features include strength, stability, endurance, manoeuvrability, and the ship's motions.
