Hi Frank, from Seattle. Thanks for that... I'm using that. Jimmy Bruno showed something similar to that I have forgotten exactly but there was a diminished in there then it kept going up like that, I guess was like An F7 to Cm to Ab diminished before you arrived at that inversion with the third on the bottom if you do the same figure on the 4th chord and if you continued it on next fourth you will be gaining sharps and keep doing that then you run out of sharps and have 4 flats then lose them on the count down to nuetral C..... I forget where he said he got it, was either Evans or Peterson.
What are the relationships between the inversions and the neighbor passing chords , and how would one think of those in a chordal or noted sense .so i can learn to transpose it up to higher registers? Great lesson, will be studying many times. Thanks.
