The uniforms are beautiful and sparkling but the rcmp (mounties) carousel is a much more spectacular show. And I'm pretty sure the late Queen Elizabeth would agree with me.
In french armed forces, we don't do difference between men and women, they are all "Gendarmes", "Soldiers", "Cavaliers",... it's the most rexpect we can show to women to considere them the equal to the men... from an actual Master Sergeant of the french Gendarmerie... a former staff sergeant of the french elite infantry (land army, 16° BCP)... 30 years of service, still in race, twice injuried (in which a NDE).
