Some cool ideas there. The rooftop tent was very nice but the price nearly had me calling an ambulance 😳😲

The " Gentle tent" looks like it would blow away in a breeze of collapse as soon as it rained.

The only thing I hate about these types of products are the prices. For $200 I can probably get a real tent that sleeps 10 people and has "rooms" instead of $600 for some shade cover etc.

I have the hammock system stands. They threw my alinement off after one night sleeping on them. You also hang very low and can be hard to center. One final thing to note is that if you are not setting these up on soft ground then the stands spin under your tires. I was using them on a tacoma so any smaller cars good luck.

It's difficult to find an overnight staying spot for van campers in North America though. There are free designated spots, but still. I heard some big stores allow visitors to park their van campers overnight, only if they call ahead to get a permission first. Anyway, thank you for the updates, TechZone..!! :) This is a very interesting topic.

Looks like a Volkswagen van. The transporter van of the 1960's. Personally I would prefer a bed inside the vehicle. And a tolet/shower combo. And refrigerator/ frezer, microwave. Possibbly a ice maker, and heater/Airconditioner. Built into the vehicle. Or class 3 R.V. vane. No set up needed. This would be convenient in rain, or snow. Independent power for the heater, and air conditioner say a 96 hr auxiliary power generator, or battery. Thuse add food, drinks, and no setup.

The car Tent is pretty cool
There cool, what kept me from ever buy one is that your vehicle is now unusable for driving and exploring. If you have an emergency and you need to get help you need to pack or remove this tent with your sleeping gear inside. Also I ruff camp and sometimes campgrounds. So if I take my vehicle up to the store you have to take your tent. And at some campgrounds it first come first serve( if no tent on site you may lose your spot to a new camper).
I definitely enjoy watching your videos but some of the products in the video is way out of budget. And most people can't even pay there rent or put food on the table for there family. All in said try putting something in the price range for normal people who can afford the some products that's under $250.00 thank you for interesting video content early early morning's like myself to enjoy but I doubt I would buy any of the products in the video.📺

That Lumaca thing is way overpriced. Here in Australia every man and his dog that goes camping owns one and you can get them for about $120. Even the high quality brands are only like $300 so it’s a little overpriced at $625.
Hell, I DIY'd my own and only spent about 60 bucks all together on it.
You also have very inexpensive kangaroos there whereas here in America we have to pay thousands of bucks to eat them

I've been tent camping for decades. I don't understand the point of sleeping on top of your car. And it's so expensive. A ground tarp with a modest tent and air mattress or cot will cost you less than $100.00. It seems that YETI and Advertizing is "glamping up" an age old family activity and turning it into a expensive, gimmicky trendy, hip sport. No wonder the traditional family is suffering.

@@madbrawler4398 I was curious because a sports car is significantly lighter than the SUV shown in the video and with the added torque of the hammock beams it would make it very easy to tip a car over.

Good ideas but the stuff that isn’t MIA (made in America) might be tough to get ahold of. The inflatable tent would turn into an investment of serious proportions by the time you pay for the item and then have it shipped, I could easily see having to live on Ramen for a loooong time! Be great for a tiny home on wheels! But you might need a defibrillator before it’s all over.

Hello hope everyone is doing alright. Here is the story back in 1998 i have lost my right hand from the rest and injured my right leg the femur part i am lebanese living in lebanon at the moment but jusr feel like the wrong person in the wrong place. Like the lebanese gov. Doesnt really care about the 15% of the citizenc who has disability that live in the country instead of helping and giving them monthly benefits for example not $1000 but $500 at least they dont plus the law 220/2000 is not applied yet so I dont have rights to practice or enjoy like other disabiled people in other countries. I dont have my own apartment or place yet also am single and unable to have / be in a girlfriend boyfriend relationship. Also in lebanon there are 102 org's. But half of them are not legal the other half are theifes and take advantage of the disabilied. But as the size of my country in my opinion Lebanon doesnt need 102 org. Its like they made it there job and all the money they recive or donations goes to there pockets to be spent on tbem selves and we get nothing from it. I have a feeling that those org. They dont want us to have a better future or get married one day also be indepandent. So they want us to always be at our knees and beg them for help .. anyway I hope this message gets to everyone also hope you guys could help me start an indepandant organization also keep intouch and help me build an 8 level building spaceilly made to house and support about 100 guy and girl with disability also employee 150 lebanese guys and girls and which the public can also benefit from not just the disabiled. Currently am trying to design and draw that 8 level building in 2D and hopefully I get your support on that project. I bought a inflatable bed on eBay for $30 that turns the back seat of almost any car into a bed.
I bought a full free standing hammock at a garage sale for $25. I bought a pop up tent voff Amazon for $60 and a sleeping bag for $23.
Everything I need to car camp and I saved thousands of dollars not buying this stuff!
