My friend an I would watch this and Colors everyday while suspended from school. We would laugh so hard at this scene. He did become a gang member. I'm glad the Lord lead me away from a possible bad path. I've heard he was homeless. I hope not
Watched this almost daily with my friend Terry probably between 1986-1988 or so. When I met my husband 10 yrs later he told me he watched this a million times with his friend Jeff. What a coincidence! Still married almost 25 yrs this yr!
It really did lol, I was thinking the same exact thing. It's because unlike MODERN action/fight sequences, it was cut to death and flashing around so fast you couldn't see what was happening. Also because the actors/stunt dudes did a great job. I just discovered this movie about an hour ago. I am off to find somewhere to see it
Just told a friend of mine this morning that every fight/killing in this movie looks 100% genuine. My girlfriend at the time back in the day burst into tears when we watched it. No CGI.
Maxwell must have hardened up years later because if you look at his IMDB, he has played this character many times and done tons of killing and raping scenes in his movies lol
This was my favorite scene of my favorite movie when I was like 12 years old back in the 80's! I liked the part when they throw the beer bottle at the old hags head as well. Lol!
This is a CLASSICE SLEEPER !!!!!! This movie Got very Little Theatre play ! The Video even was Mediocre in sales. But I thought this movie was Missed. I see we do have a little following outside of Charlie Sheen fans ! But Maxwell Caulfield along with Charlie Sheen made this movie a HIDDEN TREASURE ! A must see for any ACTION fan !
This gas station is in hollywood its a 76 Station 7755 Beverly Blvd at the corner of Beverly Blvd and N Genesee Ave.. look it up on Google maps street view!!! I stopped by there last time I was in LA.. cool spot!!!
in the commentary for the dvd the director said shes sorry that she filmed this in the way it was filmed. cause it made the violence look cool with this rock song playing over it..
TheEarlymtv She should be sorry. Look at the comments on this video. These people don't see any social commentary they see a fantasy they'd like to participate..
This is the second video I've visited where some goofball(s) is expressing openly that they are amazed Charlie Sheen was once hot. The previous one was an interview from 1986.
6-27-13 Charlie Sheen is the man i love this movie so much. I also loved around that time his other Hit! Movies too like "The Out Siders" "Platoon" & "Navy Seals" Just to name a few. When i can't sleep i love to put on his movie "Platoon" & I watch it till i fall asleep. LOL Man this is when movies was movies NOT! A BUCH OF REMAKES! 80' Baby.
His friend is crazy this guy made a mistake he thought he gave him a five and a one but he give him two ones.I had this movie on VHS a long time ago i put it in a VHS player and it broke this is a good movie from 1985.
Am I the only one who is going to praise the acting of the third accomplice in this robbery, the little dog? That little pooch knew what was about to go down and saw, heard or spoke no evil!
I LOVE THIS SONG BY GREAT WHITE " NO WAY " ...AND THE VIOLENCE OF THIS MOVIE....TOO BAD THEY HURT INNOCENT PEOPLE...BUT ITS A GREAT MOVIE ...THATS HOW I FELT WHEN I WAS A TEEN IN THE 80s
Such a shame, Max's career should've really taken off when he was at his peak in the early 80s and could've gotten more roles. He has such a versatility in acting. Not sure if it had to do with being typecasted or the woman he married. Who knows?
rayva1 I think he just didn't want to be typecasted as another pretty face or as a "brat packer". If I'm not mistaken, I do believe he's said that his first love has always been theatre.
gum?..GUM!!!? CHARLIE SHEEN only thinks to steal GUM!!!? it's charlie sheen you'd think he'd at least grab some smokes and a few rubbers for bangin tutes but no... just gum.
MrDream5 Roy and Bo should've just stormed the CBS warehouse and taken everything. And then, a bloody massacre at Studio 33! Roy: "Big bucks, big bucks, no whammies, and STOP!" (he stops at a Whammy) Peter Tomarken: "STOP at a whammy!" Bo: "This Jew stole our money! Get 'im!" (Roy puts Peter in a chokehold and punches his gut repeatedly, Bo puts a chokehold on Rod Roddy and holds a gun to his head)
This.....this right here is how you do a violent beatdown scene at a gas pump. Courtesy of the 80's and one pissed off Max Caulfield. The Boys Next Door, Savage Street, Class of 1984 etc. Hollywood today could learn a thing or two if they'd just dig out the vaults.
So, we know the put in 2 bucks in the car with pump 13. What i'd like to know is what pump did roy beat the hell out of that guy with? If i'm ever in the area, i'm definitely going there to get some gas.
@Joe When did you figure that out? When the attendant actually put the money on the window to verify what he was given, after that guy beat the hell out of the attendant and arguably left him for dead, or when Sheen's character did nothing to stop the brutal beating and instead took the time to steal.
***** No, it looks like a Road Runner but it is a 1973 Plymouth Satellite. If you Google "Boys Next Door 1973 Plymouth Satellite" It talks about it and shows images.
***** The first thing that pops up under Google when you look up what I said, is a TH-cam video that is tilted "'73 Plymouth Satellite in The Boys Next Door - TH-cam" And below that is the imagines for the Plymouth Satellite. In the movie where the cops say that, is they think it is a Road Runner also. Which it is not.
I remember in the 80s my best friend was obsessed with this movie. He really identified with these guys.
I wonder how he turned out....
Like me?
Yeah that's what FB is for
Probably still in prison.
My friend an I would watch this and Colors everyday while suspended from school.
We would laugh so hard at this scene. He did become a gang member. I'm glad the Lord lead me away from a possible bad path.
I've heard he was homeless. I hope not
Probably beat someone over the head with a gas pump ⛽️ over 2 bucks 😂
Watched this almost daily with my friend Terry probably between 1986-1988 or so. When I met my husband 10 yrs later he told me he watched this a million times with his friend Jeff. What a coincidence! Still married almost 25 yrs this yr!

That’s literally called acting
One of my favorite movies ever. Maxwell Caufield (Roy) played the hell out of this role.
The song by Great White - "No Way" makes this scene pop!
this is a pece of art. best movie i ever seen
You should be embarrassed to admit this movie is the best movie you have ever seen.
@@Dhorpatan why name an better movie in all generes in all time?

My friends and I would laugh out asses off at that scene. Kinda messed up now thou
Maxwell said he hated doing that scene hitting that guy.It was suppose to be more brutal but he told the director to stop.
Well, I'm glad you posted this because I hated seeing him do the scene.
Man some actors are pussys I hate when actors say shit like oh it was just to emotional of a scene for me lol
Maxwell must have hardened up years later because if you look at his IMDB, he has played this character many times and done tons of killing and raping scenes in his movies lol
Jay Payton yeah he is good actor for psycho killer. He is handsome so he should have been more famous.
Ca$hMoN3Y
Lmfao no one is buying your edginess
this particular scene was filmed at 7757 beverly boulevard in l.a.
the gas station is almost exactly as it was then.
This movie was released as "No Apparent Motive" in Australia

@@visaormastercard Roy did in the very next scene, at the hotel room when he's laying on the bed.
I know its a movie. but that beating looked real.
Caulfield may have been the psyhco but Sheen was real asshole by conning the Irani gas station worker. He clearly gave him two dollars.
I think Sheen's character honestly was mistaken

What a waste of talent. Maxwell Caulfield could have been one of the greatest actors to ever live. He deserved Oscar roles
You clearly see he gave him two $1s
If you have ever worked in customer service, it is a bad idea to act like a Wise Ass like that clerk did.

1985,...that's the same year as such movies as A View To A Kill & Gotcha! came out.
When he beat that guy with that gas pump, I was like:😯
Very Pyschotic Movie. Some scenes fucked my head up, I think this was based on a true story.
