A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ TH-cam. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of TH-cam I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on TH-cam won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This TH-cam channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different

This song helped me a lot I was diagnosed with kidney disease and lupus at 17 years old I didn't want to be here anymore because of it but I listened to this song and definitely helped me

I haven't heard this song in a while... I'm at work listening to reactions as I work. This one had me STOP and watch. This is such a beautiful song. This world is so full of hate, judgement & ridicule. I always tell people... you don't have to be perfect - just don't be an asshole! There's enough of them out there. Being kind is the easiest thing to do & can make a big difference in those you show it to. Spread love into the world. Watching this video I just wanted to hug everyone in it and tell them they are enough just the way they are.

WOW! Incredible. Heard this song over the years - in the car, on CD, in numerous commercials. I've listened to Christina Aguilera since her very start, yet amazingly, I've just seen this Video now! Deeply moving & beautiful (no pun intended). I also see the influence of both the "Beautiful" song & video on Katy Perry's faster & more upbeat "Firework" (both the song & video) even though Beautiful is years older.
This song definitely helped me gain confidence during my lowest points. The Voice Within and Fighter is another powerhouse song from Christina Aguilera!

Fighter, Can't Hold Us Down, Say Something, The Voice Within are just four of her songs off the top of my head with deep meaning. But she also has fun songs like Candyman and Dirrty that are fun to listen to.
Since you loved the meaning in this song I highly recommend TLC'S song Unpretty. But also anything by TLC is worth checking out.

Crazy trivia about this song is that this recording was her FIRST time singing it. In the documentary Soundbreaking (effing amazing btw, about the history of recorded music) this song was featured and Linda Perry produced this. Christina wanted to do it again, but Linda insisted (correctly) that the vulnerability and power in this performance would be unmatched and history was made. But that also shows how incredibly talented Christina is to sound this good right out if the gate.

Man, or woman, we have all felt "less than" at some point in our lives. Whether we want to admit it or not. The message is similar to "creep" by Radiohead. In my humble opinion.
Although in "Creep" there are really no encouraging words for those who feel "less than", it's just about feeling the pain and isolation. It offers no relief or message of self-love. This song would be a good response to someone who's wallowing in the pain of "Creep".
