This happened to me re: unable to open as apple could not determine the author of the code etccc. I managed to find a way to over ride it in console, can try and find the code and share with you if it helps?
Oh no you're good, thanks! The Mac issue is relatively easy for users to get around and most are familiar with it from other software anyway. Appreciate it nonetheless!
It annoys Me when gear loving producers down play the work that it takes to make a plugin saying things like "Plugins are easy to make they are nothing" while having no actual clue what it takes to code software or how long it takes.
Awesome inclusion of the Linear Phase LP! 🤌 love it. But does this then introduce much latency into the plugin? I was very glad to see 0 latency in Flvtter. Can we switch it to minimum phase filter if we choose to keep it 0 latency? 🫶
Thanks dude! Ahh for now it'll only come with latency indeed, that is true unfortunately. I figured it wouldn't be much of a deal though because your DAW compensates for the latency, so it would only ever become an issue in a live setting. However using different types of filters would likely f*** up the phase which would cause the result to peak much higher. I'd like to avoid that! But if you can make a case for the 0 latency, I'll think about implementing another filter! If this is urgent right now, remember you can always use a parallel chain and pick from your own set of filters for the sidechain input, and then make that chain a preset 💙
@@ZefParisoto indeed! My case for 0 latency is that I always flatten all processing that introduces any significant latency if I must use it. As well as small buffer. This means I can always load up a synth or drums and have it be super responsive to my playing. Which helps me write better, make better rhythms etc. I tend to avoid using anything that introduces latency until the track is “finished”. Just my workflow personally. Big Latency (>2ms imo) with fvtter would mean I wouldn’t use it as often ☹️ Personally I’d rather stick to previous 0 latency version. But I might be quite unique in the way I like to work 😂
@@lusid_music_uk that is indeed a very good point. I definitely want to do that now hahah For now you could also just not use the filter option in the writing stage and then in the mixing stage, for a cleaner result, see if the filter is of use!
Do you think you will make any more plugins? How long did it take you to make flvtter? Having messed around with it recently It really is amazing and really solves a pain point I’ve been having for years! I salute you sir! 🫡 also been having fun making Reese basses with it 😎
I have one specific idea for another plugin, yeah! For now I want to make FLVTTER even better though, I got lots of things on my list! new visualizer - stereo - longer time window self-fluttery mode mix knob resizability get rid of code warnings allow adjustment of sloppiness for vol comp labels for ui controls more distance between output slider and clip slider to avoid misclicking FIR filter oversampling
@@ZefParisoto excited to see what you do next! yes bro these are all awesome. I felt what the plugin was immediately lacking was a dry/wet control! Apart from that it’s already basically perfect imo.
@@lusid_music_uk oooo cool idea hahah that would have to involve some granular synthesis probably though, since otherwise you'd have to be able to look into the future to modulate a sound to a higher frequency lol
youre so fucking cool i love you so much
NO YOU OMG
Thanks!
Thanks for helping me out when I bought it without realizing it didnt work for logic pro!
It's been flawless since then
letsgo!!
well hey now you know how to do all that stuff for your next plugin! :D
absolutely!!
Buying this rn take my money
Oh dude, new update, hell ya!

Yeahhh I feel the same. I feel like it's getting more and more accessible with things like plugdata? I've never tried it though!

Also while 0 latency LP filter would shift the phase of the flutter effect. This is a compromise I’d be happy to make for my writing stage.

Also I had a thought about an FM mode? Is this possible? That would be cool if so!
Although then you’re not really “fluttering” are you? 😂
