Conner, First, I am glad to see that you are at least okay. Second, I am very sorry about your mom's diagnosis, It is a lot to deal with and for me, FAMILY FIRST. Third, sorry about the loss of a collage at work. fourth, I believe the fuse blew due to the 12 volts being exposed to the differential fluid caused a short. Fifth, Great fix for that problem and I would make it so those wires do not move any more as I agree with you and what caused it. sixth, Happy Holidays and stay safe.

Maybe use some rtv around the plug the wires go through as well.
