Props to you for actually even beating Sisyphus, I still haven't done it since he released. I remember streaming my experience with Act II's release and using a somewhat cheap tactic to beat Gabe 2 (managed to get him stuck in the ceiling in his 2nd phase) and I don't regret doing it that way at all. It was fucking hilarious.

lol, i remember when i gave them the cheap way to beat pissypiss, that entire sequence following the discovery was hilarious. I will say this though, i gave that to them because they seemed like they were reaching their breaking point, and i dont blame them, i myself spent several hours just fighting him, let alone actually beating him. I lost my mind several times throughout it, so i can say that despite whatever method they may have chosen to deal with him i dont blame them, had i known about the cheap method sooner i would have done it myself.

god damn, this took me back. I remember absolutely cranking the shit out of the game just to be able to beat minos after like 4 hours and starting to P-rank all the levels for P-2. God damn the sun still has about a quarter of the total resets on my savefile if I had to guess. To beat Sisyphus on day one I had to keep myself awake with coffee and it took me 4 hours total: 2 to get to him, 2 to beat him. Absolute hell.
Anyways, great video! Definitely enjoyed stumbling onto this one via youtube's recommended, and will probably come back to watch some old videos!
That message at the end made me smile. I remember that post, lots of people typing these like 15 page long essays on why people behave like that, posting reaction images, and just being generally unhelpful. It felt like anything I replied with would just be lost in a sea of garbage, but I remember you replied to what I had typed thanking me for the kind words. Im glad I played even a small role in encouraging you to keep playing. Thank you for making awesome videos.

I use Davinci Resolve when editing, but I imagine the effects are similar. Heavy inspiration was taken from max0r as well.

If ever you decide to revisit P-2, here's some useful tips for both the level, and Sisyphus:
Prioritize Core Nukes, they're extremely helpful throughout the whole level, and the power to tell half the enemies in a room to go fuck themselves one time every sixteen seconds should not be undersold.
Try to learn Shotgun Swapping, rapidly switching between both variations of the shotgun immediately after firing, this can output some ridiculous damage if you get consistent with the timing.
Increasing your FOV really does help in this game, at least for me. I have mine set to 125.
Sisyphus is purely a game of reaction time and memorization. If you can accomplish learning the parry system, only two of Sisyphus' attacks are not parryable. On the topic of parries, think back to limbo and the level 1-2. "Attacks with blue sparks are unparriable."
Flesh Panopticon's mortar barrage can't hit you if your standing on top of the boss, which you can actually do. On the subject of the Flesh Panopticon, don't prioritize attacking the boss unless you desperately need health or style points, you'd just be wasting effort and recharge times on weapons.

Editorial decision. Wasn’t enough to go off of that would make a coherent video, so lots of cuts had to be made to important parts.
