I was the music editor on this movie. Funny story about this song, do you remember the peer-to-peer site Limewire? Well, before I went to bed one night I typed in Girl Boy and let it run overnight. When I woke up I had 2 downloads, one of them was Good Girl, Bad Boy by Jr./Sr. Whom at the time didn’t have an active record deal. I drove to my editing room at DreamWorks that morning and put it to picture. Of course they’re many edits in the film version to make it work for the scene, I immediately knew it worked REALLY well. But one of the most brilliant things was the marching band cue the composer put together as she pass them in the quad. One of my favorite career moments.
