Footballs weigh 3 times as much as a baseball yet quarterbacks don't get tommy john. Has to do with inefficiencies in the traditional baseball throwing motion. Driveline and similar programs are about finding your arms natural pathing.

Jackson Vance weighted balls put tremendous stress on the arm. Some parts of the program are great, but I very much disagree with that aspect of it.
