I just wished the amazing spider-man 2 had this dark edgy vibe the first movie had. Not to be "realistic" but more so to be it's own thing. The first movie despite it's flaws it had it's own identity and this soundtrack is prove of it.
Ok. Screw the bad reviews. TASM1 & 2 have to be the best i have seen. Best soundtracks, Best swinging scenes! And the first plot makes sense, when SM says you mother hugger it cracks me up the rest of the movie. But TASM1 & 2 are good movies.
Scenario in my head, Holland is being beat up... near defeat, against 3, 4, or 5 of the villains. Then 1:16 starts to play "hey Spider-man..." Between this theme for Garfield's intro and Raimi's theme for Tobey I might literally cry tears of joy
TASM 3 PITCH- 0:50 Venom is destroying everything in his path due to the death of Anne. His vengeance and rage cant be stopped and the city has fallen into chaos. Venom Is about to kill an innocent child until he notices the child looking elsewhere and smiling. Venom turns to see all the other civilians looking at the Oscorp Tower and cheering. He looks closer at the building and sees Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man standing at the top as the rain flows and lightning strikes and people can finally look up to the sky and feel hopeful.
Spider-Man is the most iconic superhero of all time. He represent what it takes to be a Hero, responsibility! Tobey, Andrew, and Tom. They are the greatest trio Spider-Man!
TASM2 had too much going on, and I hate how they went from the whole night theme to the light theme. I liked the TASM1 soundtrack and the night theme a lot. It was a good take on the character.
For me it's Tobey, Andrew, then Tom, but I love all the Spider movies and I'm so excited we're gonna see both Tobey and Andrew coming back to the role very soon.

Everyone’s mileage varies. I like the Raimi and MCU Spider-Men. People like this one for some reason. Some people just like Raimi’s and don’t give a fuck about either of the newer ones.
TASM has the best Spider-Man Score. James Horner was the fucking King. His theme is what I think about when I hear the name ‘Spider-Man’. Danny Elfman’s and Michael Giacchino’s Themes and Scores are great too and that includes Christopher Young, but Horner’s added something special.
