Riddler can be a great, dark character and deserves to be in a future live action Batman film. We haven’t seen him since 1995 as Jim Carrey. Cool looking figure.
This has the Clockwork Orange Alex vibe on the face, which I don't mind, this is by far my favorite Riddler in figure form for the 7" line, yes I wish it had more articulations, but until Mcfarlane gives an upgrade, this will do well in my collection,
My favorite 6-7 inch riddler figure. People complained about essentials going in a "7 inch" scale but I think it was a great decision since most dc collectibles are in that scale and it allows for a figure like this one to be put next to figures from that line in one of my displays and work great. Another example would be getting to use the dc bombshells Harley Quinn as my Harley figure in my essentials display and have it work perfectly because the essentials Harley is boring trash made to appease the Twitter mob that doesn't even collect figures or read comics because how dare they(dc) make a female figure in a costume the keyboard commandos view as sexualized (therefore misogynistic and evil). Rather than having to go on a apology tour they rather just release some shit that no fans (male or female(especially female)) want. If you have two bombshells you can swap the head. Okay back to this riddler figure, like all amazing dc collectible releases, the critics and "fans" trash it upon release making the price super cheap/the figure put on clearance, then a year or two later people realize how great it is and the price shoots up to crazy levels and never come back down because people are willing to pay it. Like essentials reverse flash, I bought 4 of them off amazon for 13 dollars a piece and now you can't get one for less than a hundred bucks.
One of my favorite figures. I also liked the Greg Capullo Two Face....which I think you didn't love.

Man, it's been like 3 years since I've gotten any type of DC figures. I've had marvel legends for a while but nothing DC, maybe I shy pick a few up.
