Long time Bane player here! Loved to see him perform well on TI, but hopefully it has stayed under the radar enough to avoid any serious nerfs. Hoping ET/Tiny/Magnus have taken the spotlight. Worst pub matchup has to be Tidehunter as Kraken shell will remove Enfeeble, Nightmare and worst of all Fiend's grip. This means the watermelon is going to get his R off and Bane's kit cannot prevent that.
hopefully they make a shard for bane where fiend's grip also applies a break. broken, true. but it's not often when a bane completes a grip without being interrupted
Man, your analasys are absolutely amazing. That effort you put in and how much people can learn from your video is amazing. Thank you for your work! :)
Happens in higher brackets like Legend and Ancient as well. So you are in no short supply of herolds to click on the "sleep" enemy instead of the "stunned" enemy.
I stopped playing Bane because in a 5v5 whenever I use nightmare on one of their cores & grip the other, one of my teammates would attack nightmared enemy. No matter how many time I tell them to not attack the enemy they keep doing that
Well said. I agree with you. So many players are often rush to attack nightmared enemy because they want to kill the enemy hero as soon as possible. Many players tend to forget about the effect of nightmare skill when they are in large teamfight, because they want to kill the enemy hero as soon as possible. That is the biggest reason why I rarely pick Bane Elemental, because some of his skills are just to risky to use in large teamfight.
Thank you! You can use any of your other abilities to pop the Linkens first. I suggest Enfeeble since it has the longest cast range. If you have something like a Force Staff or Psychic Headband, you can pop Linken's instantly and then ult
@@minhtoquang8332 i play a lot of hoodwink pos 4 and have around 59% wr. I think pos 4 is the best for her, since she seems really weak on the midlane. And pairing her with Mars hasn't been that great in my experience since Mars likes to destroy trees :)
I kinda max out Enfeeble if my enemy lane would be an int or agi . Spamming that Enfeeble kills those agi really quick but the bad side is they will use stick
Hello, can you explain how to solve mana issues on support? May be it not the case in high mmr pub, where everyone farming efficiently and support spend mana only in teamfights ring of basilla can be enough. But i in my pub constantly try to push lanes and farm dangerous creeps because not everyone doing it. What would you do for mana sustain in such case?
Ancient player here If you're using wave clearing heroes like shaker, it will pay off to buy clarities, but if you're playing bane which has only single target abilities, you should avoid casting spells on creeps unnecessarily. If you're playing roamers like earth spirit and the hero you're playing has low mama costs (100ish) like venge, then a sage mask or raindrop will help. No matter which support you're playing, magic stick will help with mana and health sustain. But it might not do much for high mana cost heroes such as lich or disruptor, so heroes like them still needs to spam mangos (i usually buy 3 mangos at the start, then 1 or 2 more later)
Tan Tze Jinn gave a good answer. If you find that you have to splitpush a bit more in your games, then buying small items along with some clarities will go a long way. Often times, just auto-attacking a bit more can be a free way to save mana. If the creep wave is equal, it only takes 3 attacks to guarantee your lane will start pushing. You don't HAVE to nuke every wave you walk into
Hi sorry it is not right place to ask but I have question now I herald. but as support I am applying most of the things that rise my mmr. and here the question: when will be new reset for the mmr what should I do to pass the 10 game and get my new high rank
You might already have the option to do so (it's in settings and you have to activate it). If you don't or already did it before, I'm not sure when there will be another one. But for what it's worth, reset really just makes your next 10 games count for a lot of MMR if I recall correctly. There's no guarantee it will help you out. It may speed up the process, or you may get unlucky and play poorly and end up lower. I wouldn't really count on it for MMR, but you can give it a try if you are confident you can jump ahead.
@@ZQuixotix thanks for your reply. Yes I am sure it will move me forward. but my question is there guidance for this 10 game hopefully to guarantee higher lvl
@@1Mrspot Oh, not really. You just need to win the games same as usual. Each win should make the game harder (more so than usual) so just make sure to keep that in mind
At low mmr. I just leave nightmare at L1 instead as it it very situational and very hard to use in teamfight. I got enfeeble and i find it quite useful.

Hello my boy, the way ts used this bane the fist game agains VP, jeeeesus, its pretty hard to counter him once kunkka were shut down by tide ravage.
Liked a lot how you have explained the way to play this hero
Thank u for the vid. Been wanting to learn this hero recently
bane has always been my favorite!
Good guide, very comprehensive. Thanks
I'd like to add about the lvl 25 talent. It's important if the opponent has status resistance (maybe a gyro with SnY and satanic)
Such a useful guide!)
what do u think about the 5 faerie fire 1 clarity start?
thanks man, i tried bane after watch this. and get a great game
Really nice guide with examples, thanks!

irrelevant question, is the label of hoodwink beeing a support ingame missleading? Ive only seen her as a mid so far. im still new, just wondering lol
Mars and Hoodwink is a popular offlane duo, I think.
