I love this one as an indoor basher. I rotated the ESC/ receiver as I didn’t like the pressure the battery strap put on the wires. I also raised the body about two notches so I could relocate the on off switch (hot glue) to the rear body post for easier switching with the body on.

This is an excellent review. It looks like a fun and durable small truck. It looks like FMS is expanding a product line with this truck and the new 1/10 trucks. I couldn't believe you landed it on the high chair.

Ya I’d probably say 1/16 is about as big as you could go, but would definitely need a good way to secure it. Glad I could help!! 😃

I got the smasher and the quality, fit and finish is really on a another level. Great brand. The Colorado is def on my wish list.
Is it the 1/24 smasher (do they even have a bigger one?)? Yup that’s a great truck. It’s the only one out of the 4 crawlers I have from them with open diffs. Gives it a different feel. Can’t wait for a 1/10 from them!

This is very cute i like it after few moments i saw it from you. For the size of the model, the size of the motor is very strong and i am sure it will not stressed at all. I don't think you see a 1/24 scale monster truck with this size motor. They have done very good job. Plus you can buy a faster 370 size brushed motor and i am sure they cost cheap, so is a cheap top speed upgrade. I like it a lot.

That Colorado looks like fun! I've been looking for over a year for that ramp you have; can't find it. I have the ones with the level takeoff, which beats the crap out of the front of any car I've tried, but can't seem to find the one with the curved approach. I may have to bumble my way through building a ramp. Splinters, 14 trips to the overpriced local hardware store, and 12 weeks of cursing, LOL.

How’s it going Evan ? This little truck is for taking places with not much spaces! 👍🏻 kinda reminds me of the little 1/24 truck HBX used to sell a few years back. The Hbx 2138. Wish they still had it in their model line up. It was capable of 17-18mph and liked to wheelie and jump like this one, but it lacked oil filled shocks. These are great indoor fun and to me are just awesome! 😢

I think I'd much rather eliminate the 2 speed to lower the cost, It's a bit pricey for a small brushed model, still pretty cool though.. 👍🏻✌🏻
Hoping when the brushless comes out it will be this same price and this unit goes lower! Us the slow speed is a bit useless for this.

I believe there is a 1/18 brushless one that FMS has from there other name they go by called"Super EZ" @disciplineRC did a full blown bash review on it on both 2s and 3s it was a tank he put through hell and back I think it might still be on Amazon? Awesome job as always dude👍👍😎😎👍👍

Ya but sometimes it takes alot of work. If it’s an old toy grade RC, they weren’t typically built to have parts swapped. There’s always a way but sometimes not worth it, just depends on the car.

Can you share what the battery life is like?
It’s really hard to judge that when recording a video and kids interrupting, but it’s nearly 20 minutes if not a bit more. It surprised me whatever it is.
