- It is impossible to have a conversation on quick commerce without mentioning Zepto. Meet Aadit Palicha, the 23-year-old co-founder of the buzziest unicorn this year in conversation with A91 Partners VT Bharadwaj at the Moneycontrol Startup Conclave on August 9th in Bengaluru. The biggest startup event of the year.

People don't realize how complicated it is to achieve such a feat. Especially at such a young age. Insane feat, whether or not it succeeds.
We need more people like this to inspire the next generation to make India great.
and He is 22 and the One with no Skills and Job, stalking Models Online and saying ITS NOT PROFITABLE. Lmao.
@@yashhh28 I think his co founder is the real one operating all logistics and real business. adit is more of the poster boy of the company
Thats true, bro is national level debating champ @@winnershandbook1069
@@yashhh28 you sound like someone more than 22😆
Everything is fine but don’t relate what he has done to greatness of India. Small retailers whose market share is usurped by him is the real India.
AADIT and Kavailya you are an inspiration to many people in India. Please continue what you are doing
Just a 23 year old.. incredible
Exceptional communicator
the new face of indian startup i am guessing.
He is one of the 'chosen ones' 👁 Be rest assured, he's going to be in 'the list' for the next 10-15y
I'm sure Zepto will grow even bigger because more than 70% of my building uses Zepto
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Because 70% of your building uses something doesn't mean it will grow
@karandeepoberoi8387 Why the forceful laugh?
@@Aditya_UK247 Because that person being so naive
They bound to grow even bigger than original INSTACART USA.
He said he will be bigger than Dmart in a year. 😂
I am not denying that. Valuation wise & daily sales might be. But Dmary is made on the back of Internal accurals & profits. And not VC money. Can Zepto survive more than a year if VC money is taken away.
what’s the point of such hypothetical arguments? Zepto is very much in favour of VC’s and is doing better than Blinkit, a conglomerate that’s already profitable. It will turn profitable soon and will easily surpass D’Mart.
The way zepto is doing it may become next Byjus
But would still end up filthy rich
my good wishes is with you
Getting ahead of themselves
e commerce is simply destroying small vendors as he said till 2025 he will be earning equal to 700 kiryana store owners.
man i dont know who you are but here is the explanation india is consuming around 45 to 46 billion dollars worth of goods and perishables and zepto is catering around 2 billion dollars worth of it and still 44 bllion dollars worth of that is left on the table which is catered by normal kirana stores . so do not worry.
@@sujalumathe12 Zepto is not present every where in India. You need to see the sales of small stores near by Zepto stores.
This guy knows his shit!
At 23 i didnt sound like this. 😮
Heck not even at 33.
Thank you Modiji
Jai shree Ram
Aadith is exceptional as always. Didn't like the interviewer. Lousy introduction, not a warm ending, no thoughtful follow-up questions. sorry
How does one get so wise at 23! the clarity of though is mind blowing .
However I don’t know if this trend is going to be beneficial for India. Local shops provide the much needed energy to the communities, and also provide a lot of self employment opportunities. US destroyed the local markets!
Bro you can be one of them too, if you have got the right mindsets and kind of the surroundings from the first day of your birth and next you can also build this company if you got the money, network and resources like they already had everything one call away
Brilliant
Sounds like a byju or oyo of the modern age
Exactly, zepto has no future
Is zepto providing something like AWS or something because that's the reason amezon have this massive success most of amezon revenue comes from AWS that why they can take e-commerce losses and zepto is just quick commerce company so it will be interesting to watch how they will operate after VC pull out 🙃
When did Amazon launch aws? In 1996? I hope you got your answer.
@@MrCoolPuru2this is 2024 . U launch a tech product not a human one😂
@@MrCoolPuru2 I know amezon launched AWS in 2006 but zepto is still facing losses and they completely depend on VC or investor money unlike amezon which have money making Machine AWS so amezon didn't care about losses in quick and e-commerce
AWS is still less than 20% of Amazon's revenue. Get your numbers right.
@@TilakVardhan tech scales , adding delivery guys to exploit does not
It will be next byjus
lol bro is trying to say whatever he can to bring in the Ps and cover up the losses in Q-Commerce
soon they come into IPO which become oversubscribed then VC got exited by decent return on their investment litterally who burning their capital at first , founder hold upto locking period soon they also sell majority to public now pls tell me who is idiot in this game, its public who cant understand that its non profitable buisness creating hype so that they sold to public. what problem they solve i cant understand whether it is a problem or not is itself contradictory, they are only in 10 fucking cities , buying and selling huge grocery without earning single penny. its litterally way to convert paper networth into real cash.
Yeah right, nowadays all startups are the game about valuation and hyps around the town and that's it... Like byjus
10 minute deliveries are worst thing that can happen to environment. Plus it is only a business in India because 70% of India is poor and ready to work as cheap gig workers in high cost cities, otherwise there is no business model here.
Are you a kiranawala?
@@warnpassion I am just not the guy who asks a delivery guy to come deliver me a colgate toothpaste. I am guy who picks it up myself when I shop for other things.
No business model? Then why it's working
@@ashish..z. you read 'otherwise'? or you have horse blinders ON?
@@nikhilsahay895 if something is working then there's definately a business model in it.. something which is not applicable in west doesn't means it's worthless
There were 1000 Amazons built at the time of Amazon. But still we know only 1 Amazon. So stop ballooning yourself, Kiddo!!
He says same answer to all interviews.
I heard this before from someone else and it didn't aged well
How would kirana store grow when u take 45 % market share? Kuch bhi
this is a common sales script
okay he cute
He definitely had a jaw surgery lol
shouldn't matter to us, just saying.
@@Aditya_UK247 bhai nahi matter karta, but i have seen bro since last 4 years. This time his jaw seemed sharper and more broader. Vahi point out kiya
😂 Amazon was the was the one who began online shopping, this guy just copied idea from the west.
can you copy this better than him
Only dumb people speak like this.
Kuch bhi tab to 0 india m origin huya tha to us hisab sara computers or salary profit company ka humra huya😂
Cannot digest their success?😅
That's what all of them do, Ola and Kareem copied Uber likewise
I highly doubt, zepto model is not sustainable for long term..
No you are not lol
both are stanford dropouts!
Kitna bada hogyaa
All hype.
Chal ab jake emi bhar

Is that why Zepto is worth $5 billion?
@@warnpassion Byju’s was once worth $22 billion buddy. Having a high valuation does not necessarily mean it’s truly worth that much or if it’s ever growing.
@@tabrezshaikh7705Sahi jawab Diya valuation chodne wale ko
But Amazon was in us secondly it was the first one to do so that is going from 0 to 1 what you are doing is implementing it in just one of many countries what is already bieng innovated in 1 part of the world that’s called from going thrombosis 1 to n that is implementing it in n number of companies . And in this case companies does not become monopoly they just compete with thier many competitors that’s it . When Amazon was there specially when they went from selling books to everything , none was doing it neither anyone was close enough to do it instantly after Amazon does anything good like introducing warehouse and delivery services to alll businesses , in your case you do anything new today another day blinkit , Amazon , Flipkart , zomato swiggy will implement it then it will all come to marketing and discounts ,that will eat up all the profits , that’s not how you become big like Amazon . So stop misleading retail investors which such bizzzare comparisons .
Amazon in the 1990s was only present in America.
