I normally use Chrome Remote Desktop, it allows me to access my computer from anywhere as long as I have internet on both devices (not need to be the same internet). Also I only use it for normal tasks.

It shares the internet via Bluetooth tethering. If it didn't share the internet, it wouldn't work.
