@danielcm81 I think Beck has a real talent for arranging songs interestingly. A song like Sexx Laws isn't amazingly written so much as really well arranged. His covers of "War in Peace," "Little Hands" and "Furry Heroine" are all really good, but I agree this version kind of fails. I like lots of Beck songs quite a lot, but I don't think he could ever actually write stuff as good as Oar or "My Best Friend."
Damn this is cool.
Beck is a master of idolizing human error and turning imperfection into art that more calculated pieces of music couldn't measure up to
Excellent! Thank you.
holy shit this is great!
I was an even better friend of Skip and I say well done!
pretty awesome

I'll be your baby tonight line is missing after the second line.
this must be Beck's take on gospel music
easily the best song on this cover album. It destroys the original, and I adore the original. haters gonna hate.
This is such a drag
@shenaniganshan
oh no problem
@danielcm81
this is no shit, this is a tribute. didn´t get it?
@shenaniganshan
idem
An over-produced hatchet job of one of my friends songs.
I'd rather listen to Robert Plants versions of Skips music.
skip spence is great, beck, not really. People are so easily impressed nowadays. This version is not very good.
I was a very good friend of Skip Spence, and I say this version of one of his great songs sucks.
It doesn't seem true to feel of original, or in other words: this pisses off.
nice try
