Erna Sack does the same in Parla Waltz. Moreover, even back then it was common knowledge that was the whistle register... You can literaly ask any professional coloratura soprano about this. And scientifically speaking M2 laryngeal vibratory mechanism (head voice) is not possible as high as the double high C for adults.
