If for whatever reason you're too heartless to appreciate this film for its story then you've surely got to at least still respect it for the level of detail and dedication that went into every second of this masterpiece from the visuals to the musical scores.
I can honestly say that the amount of decals the animators made for this movie is insane. I made a diorama racetrack of the Dinoco 400 and I’ve honestly never had to produce so many unique stickers for a single project. This team was truly ahead of their time
Pixar used ray tracing because they want the cars to look like real cars, but still have cartoonish behavior on them, that's why the environment looks so real
18:32 Jay Ward: "Turn left to go right". Lightning McQueen: "Turn right to go left". Me: Isn't that basically the same thing but the opposite direction?
Cars is my favourite movie from Pixar and is also what got me into liking the company as well (followed by liking 2 with the spy cars, I don’t care what people say about it), even though I mostly now like eleven of the movies which are of course cars followed by finding Nemo, Toy Story 2, ratatouille, of course cars 2, finding Dory, cars 3, incredibles 2, Toy Story 4, onward and Lightyear. Other Walt Disney movies (that are done by Walt Disney animation studios or Disney toon studios and also live action or playhouse Disney) that I like and are my favourites are the lion king, the lion king 1 1/2, the lion king 2 Simba’s pride, dumbo, the Aristocats, Fantasia 2000, a very merry Pooh year, Piglet’s big movie, Disney 2003 sing along songs collections of the lion king circle of life, sing a song with Pooh bear and Piglet too and brother bear on my way, Pooh’s heffalump movie, ice princess, sky high, the emperor’s new groove, Kronk’s new groove, chicken little, brother bear 2, meet the Robinsons, my friends tigger and Pooh super sleuth Christmas movie followed by six other episodes, enchanted, the princess and the frog, cars toon Mater’s tall tales shorts and a Toy Story toons short, Zootopia and Ralph breaks the internet.
17:20 love how they're talking about getting everything right and the immediately show a scene that's wrong (chick's tap would have sent the 63 into the outside wall, not into the grass. Bonus: that would be a caution) Still love this movie to death and really got me into racing and cars in general
@@MM126.90even Artie Kempner got a character in the movie based on him, the blue director car that's simular to snot rod is named Artie. Also a lot of car names are based on pixar employees, like bob pauley became bob pulley, a blue japanese taxi cab in cars 2

Here's what I am wondering. In 8:55, that looks like the scene where McQueen and Mater went tractor tipping. So why is Sarge in that shot instead of McQueen?
I remember seeing them come through Erick Oklahoma to Harley's "music shop" and thought "wow, some big wigs over here" didn't realize until too late "THIS MAN MADE TOY STORY! THE FIRST MOVIE I SAW IN THEATERS!!!" lol😂
I'm very surprised to see that John Lasseter is 65 years old now, back in my days John Lasseter was between 50 and 59 years old, and he used to be the director of some of the Pixar movies, but without a doubt Cars 1 and Cars 2
Well… yesterday i watched that movie on the Disney plus app using my cell phone/iPhone atop that picture i outlined; it’s a Disney Pixar cars portable DVD player, sometimes super-nanny (jo frost) uses portable DVD players when she visits a family.

It always bugged me that there's like 30 cars on the track and they only tell us about 3 of them. I wanted to know more about the others
Seeing Paul Newman speak lines that made it into Cars 3 gave me serious chills
The fact they got dale jr to do this movie is incredible true dedication
The fact they made their workers spend a day having fun in cars is really cool, that's the way you show why we love cars 20:35
