      Absolutely! Thanks for the comment! Cool to see the company respond!! Eventually, I'd like to try out some of the other footwear you all offer.

      First time on any reviews I've watched that the company chimed in. Impressive...

    I bought these boots. My honest review. I would recommend these boots to every human on earth. They are great. One problem I had, my right boot tongue likes to slip to the side but I was able to fix it. After you break them in, they feel more amazing. I took a few weeks to break mine in. 10/10 I would buy again

    Had a pair of original Excavators, still good today after almost a decade. Just bought a pair of the 8" Alaska 2.0s and they seem great, hope to get another 10 years from these! (Edit: I do take very good care of my footwear, most important article of clothing ..IMO)

      Absolutely agree with you there! Boots are super important. On our feet for 8+ hours a day in less than ideal areas so protecting and caring for feet is super important! Thanks for the comment!

    Yea they great boots you can get them cheaper at BIG 5. With the leather conditioner and new insoles over the old ones and bacteria & smell eliminator boot spray. Boots can last a long time

    Wouldn't it be better not to skimp on work boots if you make a living in the trades, rather than paying $78 and trying to save money? If you spend $300 on a real pair of journeyman boots, would those $300 boots last a lot longer? It would be worth it instead of paying $78 every year to replace the ones that wore out.

    teel toes are never wide enough for my feet snd becsuse of that my legs always get infected and swell up like crazy. No morre steel toes for me and i know the steel toe is the whole problem because i switched to a softer toe and after ten days thr swelling went away almost completely.

      @MainelyEverything  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well glad you're better. Definitely not for everyone. It definitely does make it less wide

    Do you buy them in your regular shoe size or a size smaller

      I bought them at my regular size. They fit good

    • @17junebug1
      @17junebug1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MainelyEverything did you need to go a half size up since they are steel toes

    • @MainelyEverything
      @MainelyEverything  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@17junebug1 technically yes I apologize. I had kinda forgot 10.5 wasn't my regular foot size. But yes I'm a 10 and got a 10.5 but if you want a tighter fit you can always try your regular size and if they don't fit Amazon's really good with size exchanges!

    Do they breathe okay?

    • @MainelyEverything
      @MainelyEverything  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not great. But my feet also don't swelter in em. Breath a little bit better due to the fabric tongue but no full leather boot that's "waterproof" is gonna breath to good.

    • @Anthony-or2ph
      @Anthony-or2ph 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Okay. Yeah my feet get soaked it seems in whatever boot I wear from getting so hot so I guess it’s just me.

      @MainelyEverything  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Anthony-or2ph Well. Some make mine hot more than others. Maybe like a keen or Merrell work shoe that has mesh inner and outer in it? Couple of my coworkers really like those.

    Condition them , god I hate stupid heads who say they're construction boots and nevrr lather em in mink oil at least, they all never do
    Only thing that's returded about the boots is the padded neck part
    It's fugly as he'll , which they'd make a boot without that black padded part, if they made a typical service looking boot that inbetween iron rangers and Thursdays, they'd probably kill Thursday boots... and I'd buy their non steel toe
    Great video tho
    If you get new ones get the black ones! And get yellow laces heh

    • @MainelyEverything
      @MainelyEverything  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have conditioned them before with smith's. Also thank you. And I don't mind the padded collar I have it on my whites too!
