For an entrepreneur, working all 7 days for 14 hours is okay. But for employees paid too low first , and then at junior levels. Working more then 40-50 hours that is 8 to 10 hours per day is more than enough. Btw jobs in IT have dried, huge percentage is on bench or in projects which have just real 4-5 hours work per day also remember mental job industry is not like assembly line. Brain needs rest to be productive. There is huge burn out otherwise. Majority percentage of Infy employees are still under 10 lakh per annum and Fresher’s are still given 3.75 lakh per annum for atleast 2-3 years.
