The content provided here pertains solely to caregiving techniques and support strategies that can be administered by family members or caregivers to support individuals dealing with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS). It is crucial to understand that the content provided should not substitute the guidance of a qualified medical professional. GBS is a complex medical condition, and decisions regarding treatment and care should always be made in consultation with a healthcare provider capable of assessing the patient's specific needs. The caregiving tips presented are based on general principles and should be employed with careful consideration for the patient's unique circumstances.
"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." - My grandmother, a GBS warrior, is on her road to recovery.
I, Avani Govil, a student of MYP5 (Grade 10) am working on my Personal Project to create a video essay on the three pillars which are significant in this journey - Movement, Mobility, Motivation (Healthcare in terms of medical intervention playing a crucial role, however, as a teenager it is an area that is out of scope right now for me to venture into).
I created a video essay to depict the journey of my grandmother as a part of my project learning and culmination.
We are thankful to all the doctors (Dr. Mukul Verma and his team), nurses, staff of Apollo Hospital (New Delhi, India) for the timely and immediate medical help. We are thankful to our entire family and friends who had a significant role to play.
We are specially thankful to Dr. Mujahid (Physiotherapist) who is determined to make her run soon enough.
And most importantly, we are grateful to God for blessing us with such wonderful people all around us.
Please provide your earnest comments, suggestions and feedback on the video essay (:
    Thanks and Regards,
    Avani Govil (MYP5)

As an aspiring doctor preparing for NEET, all I can say is hats off. This video perfectly articulated all that one needs to know about the syndrome and the usage of your grandmother's case not only made understanding the syndrome easier, but also related with the larger audience who have gone through such experiences. The idea of the 3Ms was exemplary and could bring a positive change to many families enduring similar struggles. Wishing to see more videos from you in the future!
