- Thedaringdemolition of the Agarwadekar house at Assagao, has come as a severe blow to the psyche of the peace loving Goans. Goans have become a soft target to the police-rich builder nexus. The hiring of bouncers to guard every hotel, event, properties has become a no holds barred affair. Those conscience keepers of Goa we spoke to did not rule out the role of bureaucrats and politicians in this non-Goan bravado.

The situation in Goa has been going from bad to worse for the last 60 years , year after year corrupt politicians have ruined the rich small tiny state for their very own people , not one of them were serious of pushing for special status only because they wanted to sell out the state . Absolutely right nexus between police/ politicians/ bureaucrats and property buyers made our tenants landless for their personal benefit. What happened in Candolim is exactly truth what Roshan mentioned.ourself with some villagers tried to save whatever inside the house when bulldozer demolished part of the house.No politician came to the rescue situation remains same as what Roshan mentioned. Now only option left for tenant is to settle dispute with buyer since no hope from anyone.

We need an elected representiive as a meditator between the police and legislative assembly that they dont interfere in administration of the goverment in state level.
