I Took Shelter from a Snowfall in an ABANDONED Van Deep in the Forest

- Caught in a sudden snowstorm deep in the forest, I found an old abandoned van to take shelter in. With the wind howling and snow piling up outside, the van became my refuge for the night. In this video, I share the experience of surviving the freezing cold, the eerie silence of the wilderness, and the challenge of staying warm in such harsh conditions. Join me as I navigate this unexpected adventure and show how even the most unlikely places can become a safe haven in a storm.

I am new at your channel. My name is Kathy and you’ve been showing really good videos. Love to see more in the future but you do have pretty good ideas. The way you set everything up for yourself. Just want to say stay safe and have a good night.
Thanks, Kathy!

I agree a stove would be perfect for this setup!
Should have moved you heat source closer to you and used more of the useable debris to block up some of the openings so it would have been a bit warmer
I always put the fire source closer to the door to create a wall of warm air that traps the cold
Nice caravan, the wind is lulling me to sleep, i hear it callin.

Merci beaucoup 🙏🏼
It's so sad you can tell somebody put some effort into it at one point in time to make it nice
Saludos
Thanks for watching ✌🏻

Like it, what a find... lost in time. Been wondering if the berry’s on the tree outside were eatable?

Jerky for eating slowly as it soaks up saliva or in a stew. Boil deer or elk or very lean meats that cook in boiling heavy salt solution water for 2-5 minutes-till cooked through. Drip-dry into water /salt container. Smoke with Oak, or whatever desired, for 2-4 days at APPR. Temperature of 165 degrees F. Can in jars after heating in an oven for temp sought of 154-185 degrees F and seal with a airtight lid for future use. Break smaller pieces with hammer or channel lock pliers to get small enough to put them in the cheek to soak and nibble as you walk. Great for survival or hunting or fishing. Snacking too. Sshelf life over 40 years if no fat to go stale and rancid. Cut any such fat off before eating.
Thanks!

It’s was cool 👌
Cool!

That was fun, as a kid in the 60s, I would have made a fort out of this for sure if I found it.
Che freddo coraggio caro
👌✌🏻
I could have block every gap I could with the junks left in there.
However, for one night, the inside were cleaned and even though it was cold…it should be Ok.
I plan to come back sometime and finish the work to make it more comfortable
@
Can’t wait.
Think of a way on how to make a chimney so you can make fire inside with no hazards.
Me agradas esté documental MUI intrustivo
Que bendicion 👉🙏
✌🏻
Well it's not deep in the forest.
Just some farmers old truck next to a field.
But the video is nice
thank you! this is a clearing about 3 km deep into the forest

With a little work. You'll have that thing running in no time.
Maybe yes
A camper can is better than nothing at all even if you have to build something out of twigs branches and mud
Amen!😊
I live here now!!!
Not bad 👌

Viendo estos videos se aprende mucho
Thanks for watching ✌🏻
He is crazy to sleep in the cold
😀👌
Seems like that is the only Shelter around. Lot better then being Outside in the Deadly Elements. Have some "Common Sense"!!
I think I’d take the risk and head home rather then the health risk of that derelict van
Podziwiam Cię
Thanks
💓🔥non rischiare ,,,,troppo,anche si giovane?Oh da solo???

I’d like to see a part 2 of this one where you insulate it and make it more of a cabin feel to it anyways I really enjoyed watching this video and all other videos you made
Thanks! I'm thinking about it 🤝
Dima of "Simple Life" from Kazakhstan did the same thing to an abandoned van/hunting cabin he found. He built it back better than it was for a year of videos, until some foul creazoid trashed everything he had built, smashed the windows, and tore down the roof. Then the foul git scratched some VERY hateful graffiti into the walls.
Vandals are scum that exist in all countries

Whenever I go hiking in the snow I’m going to take a broom from now on.
How did the trailer get through the trees?
It has been there for a long time and the trees have had time to grow
👍👍
❤
Must have been a nice cabin once upon a time.
Yes✌🏻
wow 👏👏👏. inscrevi
Obrigado!
Io morirei 😢😢😢😢😢
No🙂
It’s a shelter from the wind but not from the cold. Too bad you don’t have a stove with you to warm up the place :’c(
I have a warm sleeping bag 👋
Sasha, you need some linen-woollen long underwear. And knitted wool socks for your feet. 🥶
Clean it up more so you can go there again !!!
Sure, I will do it!
How did it get so far into the woods, no road??? Did someone force it into a remote location years ago then off themselves? You sure you want to bed down in that creepy location???
It's more like an adventure
There's already a lot of snow, can it survive the extreme weather?
There hasn't been any snow in this region for a long time.
👍👍👍👍

Thanks 👌
I’d never eat or drink in that filthy place. This is one of the most unappealing survival or camping videos that I have ever seen.
But this interesting 🙂
Well then, I guess when the Apocalypse hits. You're really not gonna like it unless you're prepared for it god bless
If you had to have shelter to survive this would be home from home.
"Right turn, Clyde!"
"Clyde, strip the Caddy!"
I am back 😀
I would have made more effort to seal the major wind/weather leaks.
A poncho makes a great bag cover in such conditions… 78-year-old Marine
I had no time for to do this...
I’d rather sleep outside, thank you.
Couldn’t you find a place to eat closer to the grocery store where you got your food?
It would be very simple
great video. does any one know the name of the red fruit at the start of the video?
Thanks 👌 viburnum berries

how is this a van? looks like a train cart or something.
It’s a van
Ugh! That place looked like a pit full of sickness. All those rat droppings. I'd have put up a tent in the shade of that place rather than spending any time inside.
I would too
It helps build up a resistance to hantavirus.
