- As requested, here is my video showing the evolution of Frida's hair. This video only covers her hair changes during ABBA's first 10 years or so, but perhaps someday if there is more interest, I'll try to do one for after ABBA, but I'm not sure since it is a lot of work haha. We'll see.

The secret to so many male fans of the group is that the women were beautiful but they were also people that you felt could be approachable that would smile back at you if you smiled at them. You would not feel that way with Madonna. Maybe Olivia Newton-John also Has that look that is beautiful yet approachable and warm

Frida's hair evolution through the years was iconic! You can tell any specific ABBA period by her hairstyle.
My non-abba fan sister always asks me how I know what year photos were taken, and i just say “Frida”

For me she had the best hairstyle in "Fernando", "Dancing Queen" and "Knowing Me, Knowing You", but I like also her red hair during the Australia tour 1977.

Her greatest hair moment was in the Dancing Queen video when her fringe covers her eyes in the 2nd chorus. A moment that elevates us all to the highest of heights.
I have to agree. And her worst was the Super Troupers video. That look made her appear way older.
Frida was so incredibly beautiful in that video. Her hair had body and she was making that look work. She was the sexist girl by a long shot in that video.

My favorite Frida from the beginning, I never liked blondes, not even today 😀 By 72 I had a black and white TV, I immediately fell in love with the brunette from this band, with such a velvety and warm voice. Personally I liked all her changes in terms of hair, the way her stage costumes came, I loved her warm smile and I envied her for showing it even when she might not feel well, the way she danced, Frida felt on stage like a fish in water. A special woman with a real sense of humor, I adore her even today and I wish her all the best in life, good health. 🤗🤗

The hairstyle she wore in the "Take a Chance on Me" / "Name of the Game" videos was her best look, in my opinion. In terms of 'live' work, I think she never looked better than in the footage from the Australian tour, with the little gold hat and shorts etc. She looked so fab. Frida had great style.
In take a chance on me she genuinely looks around 25. It was a very youthful style! In mamma mia, though it was three years earlier, she looked 45! Frida’s change in looks will never cease to puzzle me
Frida ROCKS to this day!!!! Was sad she didn’t make the reunion but she did right by being by her dying husband‘s side. 💕
I love Frida too , I love her story and courageous route to success she is amazing with a beautiful voice too and wow a group with 2 beautiful perfectly shaped women belting out the lead vocals perfectly together , a once in a lifetime thing , ABBA are my favorite

I love the hairstyle of Frida especially the time that she’s having a red hair. I was inspired to get a red hair during my college days and my graduation picture is a living proof that I love Abba too. 😂
I've always listened to ABBA since i was a kid thanks to my father, but i would only see what they looked like when i was a teenager when i searched about it on internet. Frida has always seemed so charismatic to me haha
I loved when Frida had straight hair with layered bangs (curtain-bangs).
Late 1976 through 1977, that’s how she will always be most fondly remembered. Imho that was her best look.

Frida sah immer umwerfend aus. Ich bereue es sehr, dass ich erst Jahrgang 1998 bin, denn sonst wäre ich schon viel früher in Frida "vernarrt" gewesen. Egal wie sie ihr Haar gestylt hatte, sie sah umwerfend aus. Danke für die Zusammenstellung. Sollte ich trotzdem entscheiden in welchen Jahren sie am schönsten ihre Haare gestylt hatte, dann von Mai 1975 bis März 1980. Ich liebe sie.❤😍

I loved Annifridas hair best when it was long...she suited it best💖
I personally think she looked absolutely amazing during the Voulez Vous era… she opted for soft waves and subtle hair flips that made her look a lot like Jaclyn Smith on Charlie’s Angels. But there are many hairstyles she looked great in. My least Favourites were the crimped looks, the overly poofy perms or wigs and that Dorothy Hamill hairdo she has around the So Long era with the cat outfits. I also think she, at times, plucked her eyebrows too thinly. But she has amazing bone structure, beautiful expressive green eyes and a very classic, symmetrical face, so she could pull off a lot of styles.
I am not sure I always loved all the hair, but ALWAYS, ALWAYS love Frida!!! I think the purple one was pretty cool :P

It's just so Amazing how a hair style can play a part in our looks. Between the two of them, I always thought Frida was alot more daring when it came to the hair styles. When her and Benny split up, she really went over to the wild side with hair style. But, the bottom line is... both woman are beautiful and extremely talented. Both woman brought their Best Attributes to form... One of the Best Pop Sensations of All Time. I still get thst same feeling today, as I did back then when I hear them sing. Loved all the straight hair looks, as mine is curly and frizzy against my will. I'm thinking she has naturally slightly wavy hair. Loved the pink and purple!
@@LisaSchulz88 One of my favorites is July, 1075. Nothing special about it, I guess that's why. She looked so natural. I have the soft curl, wavy hair. Alwats wished it was straight. Those two woman always looked phenomenal, and they still do. Thank you for sharing! 💖

In the mid seventies Frida was asked what sort of music she liked and if memory serves me she said Rufus and Chaka Khan so there is possibly some hairstyle influences there, it’s very interesting to notice the changes through the years in relation to perms, colour,cut,styles becoming more sophisticated,and also makeup ( lip gloss anyone?).I expect she just had fun with it given she had so many opportunities and her look is now iconic imho.
Frida for me is the best in elegant, finest and pretty face; Also in good charisma and personality, but at final with the short hair 🙈 her beauty soul shine but the short hair style 🙈, probably good for change for a little time, but I feel that all woman's are more sexy and in appearance more younger with the long hair.

When I was a kid and discovered ABBA in about 1977 through a friend’s older brother, I thought that Frida wasn’t the same woman as was in the cover of the Waterloo album because the hair looked so different. Plus she was billed as Anna-Frid then, and as Frida on later albums. Confused an 8 year-old’s brain that’s for sure. I also remember getting nightmares from Queen’s News of the World album cover around the same time and not wanting him to play that one for us.

Frida always looked lovely with any hairstyle, she has amazing bone structure. It’s nice to see Agnetha’s hairstyle video too, Agnetha’s didn’t change so much but I really loved her hair when it was shorter, more her natural colour with the lovely natural highlights and a bit more body, it really enhanced her face. Frida could carry off just about any hairstyle. Only the overly-frizzy perm was not a great look. She looked best with the full, highlighted curls like she had around the time of the Waterloo video.
