My biggest problem with chase cars are how terrible most of them look and since i order online, getting a chase car is a detriment since i can't be arsed to sell it and buy another copy. Additionally, i might not even get a chance to get another one because good cars sell out instantly

Tarmac chases are awful. I have a Mercedes Benz Koenig specials chase which for me, looks hideous and nobody would want to buy it even though it's a chase car.
You can replace the “chase car” with “convention/event exclusive” in this video, and it still makes sense, or from my view, make more sense. For mini GT , chase pieces cost way less than convention exclusives most of the times. On another side, the reason some people don’t even like the chase piece is because they didn’t want to make it way too appealing, they didn’t put in much design thoughts in there. It’s a CHASE piece, not necessarily a BETTER one. On the other side, most of the convention exclusives are design to be attract more attentions. With the limitation on the qty, collectors normally need to spend way more than chase to get them or they will missed more meaningful items.
The only chase car I want in Inno64 is the Green Full Carbon Z Tune from MDX cuz i'm tired on black cars however. that's the reason i can't get one for my self, I have the CLDC exclusive, I still want the Nismo Tokyo Auto Salon R34 GTR M Spec and for my Blue Carbon to have a partner in display, i want that Green Full Carbon Z tune too. Those Damn Resellers... Give me that Inno64 Green Full Carbon Z Tune for as low as 3500 PHP damn it!

The only good looking chase I have seen so far (in my personal view) is the Silvia S15 HKS drift car. The regular version looks great but the chase version looks so much better, opposite to how usually the other chases are.
I've been collecting for 20+yrs and only collect cars I want. I have a lot of the 1/64 AutoArts when AA did 1/64. I was lucky enough to get the Green Carbon Chase R34 and would never sell it. They are selling for upwards of $300cad. If you don't want to collect then don't buy to take advantage of the real collectors. That will never happen because people are greedy.
Yeah sometimes it is sad, like in my country there are many people who drive all city shops like every morning and they hunting not only sth, but like all more popular mainlines like bmw, etc., and trying buy everything what they found to get an opportunity to sell it 50 cents more. Sad.
Inno64 and Mini GTs should mix their Chase cars with the regular ones as intended and make their packaging sealed so resellers won't have the ability to open them and sell them separately. Its a win for manufacturers also as people will tend to buy more if collectors really want to land a chase car.
Each car is sealed. They open up all the cars to find the chases then sell them as "new" cars even though they have been opened. I know James is doing a giveaway so he will be opening up the Endgames to find the 2 chase cars. I just hate buying a "new" car and when I receive it, it's already opened.
Agreed 100% someone just paid 2m for a rare matchbox! Rare or not how could you justify an bit white metal casting for 2 million! I get we're all collectors I'm 1.18 only but starting to see some nice detailed 32nd n 24th now wouldn't go any lower been there done that waste time imo only for me but everyone has their scale! 2 million though just wrap that round your head for a minute 2 million, just No!

I’m always afraid to get “a chase” because it looks worse than normal version and I hate trading/selling so finding a chase is a bad expierence to me

I bought some Greenlights, but none of them seem to roll very good. Any other suggestions? Johnny Lightning has the same issues.
