I have always done mine under the grill 2 mins each side , plus added fried onion's & A tomato makes a massive difference in taste wise 😊
Will try that way. I used to cook the burger in the microwave and the bread in the toaster. I always add extra topping as well. Onion, tomato, lettuce, whatever. Bulks it up.
Never cook a rustlers full stop 😂
Never buy one, let alone cook one.
They are good for quick snacks. They aint bad. Ive not had them in a while and even then would be once in a while.
I use to microwave the burger then toast the buns.
If you're going to put the effort in you did, i recommend making your own burgers. I made mine last night, theyre now in the freezer, simple get mince (i go for 18 to 20% fat) got a 750g pack, roll up into balls then flatten them. I made 15. Comes out like 20p a burger. (Cant remember exactly how much the mince was but not much over £3 if that) cook it from frozen on a hot pan takes a few mins each side. Add salt and pepper while it cooks and get your extras ready. Got yourself a double cheese burger for around £1 -£2. As long as i have buns in the house i have burgers ready to cook fast.
You can also buy frozen buns from Iceland which keep well in the freezer, so you’re ready to go any time !
I had the Double Decker one last week I toasted the buns fried some bacon and onions with the burger patties and added my own cheese and Salad. Sometimes with the single burger one I have bacon and egg with it.😋😋
Nice one here Just Deano these ones with the bacon are the Boss! I make the burger up with sauce and cheese then wrap the them in tinfoil and oven or you could air fry them and even add extra bits in like onion or mushrooms. The beauty of this is you can do it over chips and the bread never burns! winner winner Rustlers dinner
Always think of Rustlers as "carpet" burgers, because the texture when you eat them is like chewing on an old bit of Axminster.
Yes, when heated in the microwave 😢
I usually cook mine in the airfryer anyway.I add a slice of cheddar towards the end of cooking to melt it.. and it is better than soggy microwave cooking
You have made a lot off us very happy no more microwave just arfry the burgers great review really enjoyed your review
This defeats the purpose of a rustlers burger, they quick cheap and dirty, they take less than 2 minutes in the microwave, if you are going to use an air fryer and spend upwards of 7 minutes cooking time why not buy quality beef burgers and cook them?
Sort your food snob head out he just took a microwave burger and made it 4x better deal with it
@@Smithyfc17 , where was the disrespect? Where did I say he couldn’t do this or anything he wants?
Come on people 🙄 please remove your comment 🙏
@@sunnydays9403 I haven't done/said anything wrong. I was just stating facts
@@Smithyfc17 , what facts?
Tried this now Deano…. I added Lettuce and gherkins on mine. I’m with you though….. best Rustlers I’ve ever had! 🍔 …. Smithy
Looks excellent.
my favourite rustlers product is rustlers wings with microwave chips (tg macro)
Unless it's something like a meal that says it needs warming in the microwave, I reckon the air fryer is the better option every time, Deano.
For a Rustlers I think that one looked ok. There ok for something very quick once in a while. I’m still working so I might be on one of these myself tonight! 🍔 Top video …. Smithy
Put the burger in the microwave 1.min 20 put bun in toaster different experience you welcome
Hi i tried the frying pan way vs mircowave cooking in the lidl one vs off what abit of a different tastes they had i also done a upgrade added salad it reminded me of a takeaway burger i tried this i think i did the rustlers 4 the upgrade great vid deano 😊
Looked decent that Deano. Hope this goes well for you, the couple of times I tried something similar the comments were great, the views were... well let's just say "below average" shall we 😂
The air fryer will likely consume more electricity than the microwave though, and I don't know, but perhaps if you're putting in this sort of effort, maybe it would be better in several ways to make your own?
a lot of hassle cooking for one burger, just place the whole burger including bun in microwave Zap done 😋
Snacksters are not a copycat, they are the same as Rustlers because they ARE Rustlers packaged for other supermarkets and shops.
Can you please review Greggs Cheese and Onion Pasty for tomorrow’s video 😊
I dont think it will be any different then if you put it in the microwave. They are decent but you have to add things to it to make taste good
Well it looks great to me. Giz a bite. 🤣 👍
Actually look quite nice
Mmmm cheeseburger
Deano fab burger.
Great video.
Thank you.
Live to you all.
Ann cumbria.xx 😊
Prefer snaksters now.
2 mins? Always done it for 60 seconds
Looks decent that Deano
7 minutes you can have done a frozen burger and fresh bacon in that time
bread in the toaster meat in the microwave.
That bacon looks like an old mans you know what
What's happing people!! Most of us don't have an air fryer
Hi try the frying pan way I did a vid on lidl one mircowave vs pan cooking they was different in taste 😊 if u r interested to check my vid out that is 😊
The popularity of air fryers has sky rocketed over the last few years, so I think you'll find a large proportion of the population do own one.
I only got an air fryer last week. After considering it for about 2 years. They are good. Food cooks very nice. I don't think I'll be using my big oven much again. They have come down in price now as well. Only paid £60 for mine. First thing I cooked was some roast potatoes. Much quicker than in the main over. Nice and crisp on the outside, and fluffy inside.
@@independentpuppy7520 Saves money too. I have two now and never use the big oven at all.
Then get one and save money on your fuel bills. And most of us do have air fryers. IT'S ONLY YOU THAT DOESN'T
when did a double cheeseburger become a single patty?
It didn't say double.
@@GooGooMuck72, the burger doesn’t but the title of the video does.
@@jasoncousins8689 human error?
Deano are you on the Gemma Collins diet? Cause your looking slimmer than ever.
You never see Alison Hammond and Gemma Collins together, do you?
So glad you dumped that crappy dangerous diet you were on Deanooooo. And back eating the food you love.
Ive had a couple of rustlers and it tastes like some of those horse burgers where forgotten about, I'd sooner go to McDonald's than eat rustlers crap again
If you think rusers meat doesn't taste like crap/horse meat I'd suggest you getting your tastbuds examined, and no offense deno, but if you like it please go find things other than food to review
And you did, that's so sad
🍔 What’s happening People, back in the Kitchen again!!🍔
With his air fryer again
I used to just grill the buns and nuke the burger , this looks a better way but we all know it’s cheap shit
Better piece of advice…don’t buy them in the 1st place!!!
I'm sorry about this, because I used to find your videos enjoyable, but I'm going to unsubscribe because I have no interest in watching a channel which is solely about air-fryers.
I might catch the occasional video later if the content changes.
5 reviews out of the last 17 have been cooked in the air fryer......👀
BYE BYE SAD MAN. WE DON'T WANT YOU BACK.
@@JustDeano You can't please everyone Deanooo
@@JustDeanochange title mate. It’s not a double. More people will be moaning
These are horrible. Taste funny to me.
Who eats these at home? Just a quick snack for work where you only have a microwave surely
People have quick snack at home too? and they have long fridge life.
I make these for my son, I always use the air fryer. I don't microwave anything, after finding out that the microwave radiation stays in your food, and you eat that food with the radiation in it, and it alters your blood, I have no idea the damage it causes to your digestive system. Great review, thanks Deano, for some reason I haven't been getting your notifications, even though I'm subscribed to all, TH-cam have been doing this a lot just recently.
The radiation stays in your food? It alters your blood? Scientifically-illiterate drivel.
Lol, welcome to the 1950's and ignorance...... 😂😂😂
