Excellent video with great information. When will repair professionals know what the needed tooling investments will be regarding ACC and similar systems? We only service German cars and are uncertain of Hunter's plans with respect to this additional equipment. Hunter obviously has the wheel alignment side of things covered, but mystery still surrounds working with these safety systems. This is preventing us from buying a new aligner and rack. Can you shed some light on this please? Thank you.
Thanks for your comment. The tooling requirements are a growing and constantly evolving piece driven by the OEM’s as they develop new vehicle technologies and deal with the need to calibrate them. Hunter is working to both support reset requirements required after wheel alignment for popular vehicles and to raise awareness of the need for an industry standard that bridges the gap for the aftermarket.
How much does this calibration cost at a dealer??
