I don't know that much about this sport, but I think it is similar to the scoring system in artistic gymnastics. So then first of all they look at difficulty. Some will have more difficult flips and twists than others. Or the combination is more difficult. Then they look at the execution. Height, bodyposition in the air, the amount of travelling from one side of the trampoline to the other, etc. I think they start with a certain executionscore and get deductions for the thing they didn't execute as well as they should have. Multiple judges give a score (combined difficulty+execution score). The lowest and highest scores will probably be taken away and from the remaining scores they will take the average which will then result in the final score. Compare the resulting scores from all gymnasts to each other and there is your winner.
@@margriet6077 the breakdown of the scoring is pretty much spot on! The gymnasts tend to converge to similar routines the higher up they go on the world stage, which has to do with certain combos generally working well together, and taking inspiration from each other. Having a full full or a miller in the case of the men as your final skill is very traditional for example.
well i mean you’re not an expert in trampolining hence you aren’t objectively able to compare the routines. some people are experts. don’t knock an entire sport just because you’re unable to comprehend the routines babe.
right, id like to see you try to do this. let me guess, you bash power tumbling than go call kicking a ball around a sport? please learn respect mr mesa.
If you don’t think this is a sport, why is passing a ball back and forth a sport? If you consider bashing a ball with a stick (baseball), throwing a ball around (football), or kicking a ball back and forth (soccer), then why isn’t this one?Like, seriously. Gymnastics is a harder, more amazing, and tougher than any sort of sport that you would ever do.
WHERES NATASHA GRUBENHAUF I CAME TO HER
Lol
You mean you came for her? Or did you actually just admit to being a Coomer?
#metoo ! 😂😂😂
Ditto
Yeah
How do you pick a winner when these routines all look the same??!!

I am a Trampolinist myself and they look at your HD (Horizontal Displacement), DD (Degree of difficulty) and also your execution.
