@@RexZShadow Not saying that all of their builds are bad, but alot of their showcases have been faked in lower tier maps, to show how strong and zoomie the builds are. In most showcases the player is at 0% xp, meaning they die all the time. Also, most videos are with multiple shrine buffs and sometimes even headhunter buffs, tho HH isn't possible in 1 div challenges. BUT, the videos are short and kinda entertaining for what they are. You can always take the idea and adjust it for 4-5 div to get a working build.

This game is super fun but super hard to learn (just started two days ago) and it gets significantly harder when you try to look up build guides (because its borderline impossible to go in blind and new to this game and come out with a build thats even a hundredth as good as a good players build) to understand the tree a little end up following a build for multiple hours just to get to level 35 ascend and hit a wall where my build doesnt do anything good and all my points are in whatever some clown recommended for views... in all seriousness i was about to quit i was so pissed but i found this dudes and a few other small poe tubers that do actually know what theyre talking about and i think im gonna go for the build in this video to try and speed back up to where i was. On another note though how come so many of the good content creators for this game get absolutely shrimped by the bullsh*tters pumpin out bs, really makes this already hard game to grasp much harder to grasp.
FYI, if you want to run leveled up frost blink or flame dash on reflect maps, can also support them with Void Manipulation Support and they do no damage, therefore reflect immune.

Fireball mines are a great addition to this build for clearing maps before you get Astral Projector so you don't have to aim nearly as much. Fireball - Blastchain - Fork - Minefield

You should get a Bear Trap gem into one of your many open sockets. It makes the target hit by the trap take 25% increased damage from traps and mines which should make to damage go even higher for not a lot of cost.
This video made me reevaluate my long standing aversion to mines. I'm doing a league start test with them and it is blowing me away how smooth they are. Thank you! As long as sabo/mines don't change I'm almost guaranteed starting with this kind of build.
Oh man, haven’t played Pyroclast since 3.12/3.13 following Esoro’s build. Would love to play it again I used Blastchain support with Blazing Salvo because it would auto target for me when leveling. Worse bossing for sure, but felt better for mapping before I was able to get an Astral Projector
Sabo blind combined with kongmings shield is insanely good especially for bossing and often overlooked. You can often get a maxrolled one or one with a good corruption for really cheap.
I'm always a fan of trying a new build I haven't played at league start, this might be one I keep in the back of my mind as an idea to try. Looks solid, plus those visuals are so satisfying lmao
Something that might be worth looking into for the build is the blind node on the tree, saw a video by dreamcore about it, seems slept on for evasion builds
that blind effect is solid for evasion scaling. but 4-5 passives is pretty large in investment, not sure how it fairs against better gearing+evade watchers eye type of setup.
@@CaptainLance9 yes I think the dr is already enough and the blind effect will lower enemy accuracy however you already have 100% blind chance and you would basically sacrifice 5 points for 100% blind effect which could roughly equate to 15% evasion rating to whatever your current is

Since you have so many sockets, there is a tech I've copied from aer0 and quite like: put your curse in a trigger weapon with hexbloom and it will give you pretty good hex coverage while mapping while also being automatic.

i remember old seismic sabo using life for traps with some life nodes that'd return health when u damage/kill something. Ins't it better option than sacrificing your ES? 3.8k life doesnt feel like alot
keep in mind EB has more benefits than just sustain on my skills to cast. for example I didn't even use a divine blessing setup in my build which I could easily do for higher dps scaling thanks to EB. Or for example I could run no regen maps thanks to eb. I love es pool for ghost shroud use ect. but on a leaguestart EB is quite helpful for solving this issue early before more gear can help compensate.
astral projector is 3 div now haha. Went up so fast because everyone is talking about builds like this and shockwave totems.. One thing for when you're making you're guide. On trade it is SUPER easy to get +7 March of the Legion boots since there's 4 different +2 Implicits you can hit that work with the gem. Very excited for the full build guide.
absolutely, 100% going to recommend it, my main point was that the build does content well even prior to getting it. luckily is generally is quite affordable on trade.
My fav build of all time was your hexblast trickster from sanctum league. Id never played mines up to that point and expected it to feel clunky, I remember leveling with pyroclast mines and almost not wanting to swap off cause of how smooth it felt lol.

Playing ssf explosive trap right now. Just dropped +5 march of legion. Probably will try to switch to pyroclast mines since it sounds fun. (Although i've got ailment duration diadem + 5 link dendrobate. Maybe poison seismic is better choice for swapping)
Captain i just got to maps with the 2 uniques on ssf and its pretty good! Really smooth gameplay doing pretty well until red maps, hopefully you can make a completed pob as it was my first time playing both a mines and a shadow class character and I really enjoyed it esp when I hate having to play campaign again

I grabbed the pob off this video and tried it out, stormblast with added lightning to start goes well until you get pytoclast. If he doesnt make a guide the boots will be cheaper 😊.

2 things not saying the build is bad cus i am probs gonna play thing ngl but isnt like clock work better then most things cus cooldown recoverly and makes mobs attack slower also chain reaction is also way better cus it increses area of effect but it also triggers every trap you throw so if u throw 5 traps all 5 go off and it would help sustain dmg and deal alot more in a faster time and makes traps the mobs didnt hit still go off adding the extra dmg from that

I've always worried that means that things like leech, item quantity, or player based on-kill/on-hit effects will not trigger normally. This is why, I've always thought , why Gravebinds were made. Can you put the worry in my head to rest by explain what and what not Mines give you in consideration of the player?
The easiest way to think of it is that anything that either has a beneficiary (i.e. leech) or needs credit (i.e. kill) will not count. Leech doesn't work because the mine would get the leeching, not you but by the time leeching occurs, the mine is long gone. Kill doesn't work because the mine would get the credit, not you, but once again the mine is already gone. Things like on hit work because no credit is needed here as the condition is that the monster is hit (by your skills). Basically, mines (traps/totems/minions too) means you never kill, you never crit, and you can't gain a positive benefit from the hits happening (like leech, life gain on hit, etc.). Curse on hit is fine (negative benefit). But this also means bonuses if you haven't crit/killed recently (i.e. boot enchants) will always be on 100% of the time.
you can put void manipulation (no ele damage) on frostblink/flame dash and you will never do damage with movement skills edit: i also prefer blazing salvo mines since they are homing, but they are a lot worse for bosses
Does eldritch battery actually do anything here? I don't think you can reserve on ES, it still reserves on your mana, and if that all gets reserved, no more mines. I don't think you are seeing it as your mana cost is fairly low, but I've been playing with a +4 chest version, and I can't use all my mines without tweaking things.
Victario's is a huge chest actually, there's divcard that rolls double corrupt on it, so getting +2aura+2 aoe or proj is quite easy. Also.. +1 to aura from the mods, 20-40% increased Area of Effect of Aura Skills for overlap is huge, +15% aura effect and 45% reservation, also it doesn't have life mods so you can use +15% max life mastery.. This chest is bonkers.
I kinda want to league start the new warcry, if it scales well I have made a warcry quite easily drop down to almost one every second or two, justin bieber the juggernaught... Though knowing my luck the fun idea will scale terrible, have no utility and functionally not work as intended...
I saw this build and i put it into my pob. I am curious on your thoughts of doing pyroclast poison using consuming dark. Also using a covenant for extra chaos damage.

100%! Since FastAF faked so many videos, the exp bar and shrine buffs are the first things to watch out for.

The problem with astral projector is , you still want to throw the mines close to bosses to get the debuff/buff from the aura effect of the mine.
If the new gem that make projectiles return work with mine, would that boost dps even more?

Also.. +1 to aura from the mods, 20-40% increased Area of Effect of Aura Skills for overlap is huge, +15% aura effect and 45% reservation, also it doesn't have life mods so you can use +15% max life mastery..

I saw this build and i put it into my pob. I am curious on your thoughts of doing pyroclast poison using consuming dark. Also using a covenant for extra chaos damage.
