If it's congenital clubfoot, even mild cases have risk of relapse. the brace stage is very important for all cases of congenital clubfoot. There is a chance you are referring to positional clubfoot. If it is positional, that means that the foot was positioned that way in the uterus and should be fine after a cast or two. It's not "true" clubfoot and wont' need a brace. It's best to ask a trusted Ponseti practitioner.

Dear Pranjal, the foot should be casted above knee for 3 weeks after the tenotomy procedure at 70 deg. abduction and at least 15 deg dorsiflexion. If the cast is not at this angle, the foot will not reach full dorsiflexion (www.physio-pedia.com/Achilles_Tenotomy ). I am not a clinician but I can refer you to a trusted Ponseti provider. unfortunately not but it is very treatable with the ponseti method!
