People use ASMR for different reasons, but I try to make every video one that you can fall asleep to (you're more than welcome to watch for whatever reason you like though!). I specifically make videos for people who have an overactive mind, adhd, anxiety, insomnia, depression, or are actively stressed. I believe the neurochemicals in all of these mental states look very similar and my style of ASMR aims to bring balance to those neurochemicals. I'm not a neurologist, psychologist, or professional of any medical/science field whatsoever. I just have a lot of experience with stress, anxiety, and adhd so I perceive the world and ASMR through that lens. So, if you like faster asmr with a variety of sounds and triggers in every video, then you should hopefully enjoy these videos... and if you have adhd, anxiety, insomnia, depression, or are actively stressed then I hope you can find relief here.

What is ASMR?
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a term used for an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. It has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia. ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific acoustic (tapping/brushing/whispering) and visual stimulation (hand movements/lights/etc)

Always come back to this one. My favorite line is "I've got this smelly little bottle". Like dude, what was that little bottle gettin into that it's all smelly 😀 and my favorite section is the 'close an eye and tell me when my fingers move'. All around great vid. I've always appreciated the warm visual tones. Speaking of visual, the interaction of the taste and smell tests are great. I know that's pretty common for cranial nerve roleplays but I feel like the placement of the items is spot on. Definitely one of the few if not only vids I give a solid 11/10.

How many hours a night would you say you sleep on average?
Me: well, i go to sleep at 2am, i wake up at 2pm, eat some fruit, eat dinner at 5pm, then nap till 9pm and repeat that the next day

I'm still seeing doctor's about it but they believe i have some form of narcolepsy or something else that just makes me really really tired 24/7, they see still checking my blood samples and saliva and somewhere next month a brain scan to try and find what might be causing my permanent tiredness
Edit: i also tend to fall asleep randomly whenever I'm not active, eg: watching a TH-cam video or waiting or even in the shower at times
But if you'd ask me, i blame marno's videos for my sleepiness
