Tchaikovsky Souvenir d’un Lieu Cher, Op. 42 (with score)

Souvenir d'un lieu cher (Memory of a beloved place). Op. 42, is a set of three short pieces written by Tchaikovsky for violin and piano in 1878.
This performance of a gorgeous arrangement for violin and string orchestra, by Alexandru Lascae, was recorded in 1999 in the Maria Minor Kerk in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The violin solo is incomparably beautifully performed by Lucian Leonard Raiciof, accompanied by the Musica Ducis Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of Alexandru Lascae.
