Excellent content as ever Simeon. Hope you manage to get some down time in Barbados.
After just having a terrible stay in what should have been the best hotel in Blackpool, this video really hit home.
I enjoyed the hotel at surface level, but my Mrs is a nightmare to take anywhere, as she has very high (towards unreasonable) expectations.
As prompted, i thought back to my favourite hotel experiences, and they have come from modest owner occupier establishments, that as you said, went out their way to make sure i felt good.
I enjoyed you opening my eyes to this difference between hospitality and service and can see parallels between how i engage my market in industry.
It is very difficult to instill hospitality as you explain it.
    Cheers, Stevie

      Thank you so much Stevie,
I am sorry to hear about your stay in Blackpool. But yes that is exactly what I was talking about.
I appreciate you taking the time to share.
      Best wishes
      Simeon

Only a certain number of people could handle aspects of technical service AND hospitality simultaneously--you are a natural at this. I imagine you're an exceptional instructor as well and your students are fortunate to have your expertise to ensure maximum success.

It is true not everyone can do it but people can get better with practice and training. Thank you so much for your kind words they are very much appreciated 🙏🏽

Absolutely right! To me hospitality is personality. You can give great service but if you don't have a personality, it means nothing.
