I have both palms done. It is without a doubt the most painful tattoos i have to date. We had to go over the left hand once, to fill in some spots and let me tell you it is painful as hell. Especially where the palm end and you get to the backside of the fingers. I also did the back and top of my head, piece of cake compared to the palms. So far the worst for me is the palms, the back and front of the knees and the sternum though that was mostly a really uncomfortable feeling.

I imagine it's way worse with your palm because you're constantly holding things.

Most people who are covered in tattoos get a sense of feeling of meditation or therapy session from the sensation of tattoos, or at least I do any people I know. I def have some that hurt like fuck, but there was something beautiful about the pain at the same time. After you have been through a hard core couple hour long session the feeling you have after the needle stops is unlike any other feeling. It’s as if when they pain stops you get some feeling of Euphoria as your nerves just start celebrating that’s it’s over and there is def some chemical released in your brain that brings on a feeling of euphoria
I got both my right and left palm tattooed I did them the same day by my boy Roger it's a snakes tail on one side and a snake's head on the other done in the Oriental style. I have all my fingers tattooed but they didn't stay too well I got the sides of my palms tattooed they fade it and I got a dollar sign as my very first tattoo in my palm that faded throughout the years the only one that stood the width of time is the snake I also had my thumbs tattooed they said cool and dude 😂😂

Second only to the palms was the top-front of my head, that was special, my teeth were vibrating

Not much you can do other than moisturize with lotion. In my opinion that’s the best way to having the best success in healing.
