- I've used a lot of work lights in my day doing remodel work and working on my cars and trucks. The Braun compact work light is the best compact work light I've ever used. It's small, bright, tough, adjustable, rechargeable and stays where you put it. If you're in need of a new work light or simply frustrated with the one you're currently using, do yourself a favor and run down to Harbor Freight and pick up one of these lights. You'll be glad you did.

I agree. The best light by far. I can't imagine there ever being a better one.
I'm with you. It checks all the boxes for me too.
so check out the Klarus WL3
it´s similiar but
1500 lumens, 13500 mAh
fast charge, powerbank (also high output)
It's a great light. Magnet is strong. Fit's into small spaces. The medium setting is fine for me for under the hood work. Battery life is pretty good. For $25 from HF it's a good deal.
One oddity I noticed is that I cannot charge it with my USB-C cell phone charger. Thought something was wrong but then tried it plugged into a computer port and it charged. I think it requires a basic wall charging block.
Any way you slice it, you can't beat this light. I agree with you, the medium setting is plenty bright. Interesting that you have charging issues with your cell phone charger. I use a universal USB wall charger, works like a charm.
Just got mind one out of two I ordered, I like how the cable can plug into my cell phone charger. I found couple other functions on it that I also like, 1 if you wait a second the next time I push the power button it goes off without clicking through the other two cycles, that is great. 2 when I press and hold power button, it changes what bright you want first, I set mind so it's brightest first, man that is great, when my next light shows up I'll leave it to low power first.......
They are very convenient to charge like you said. Thanks for pointing out the two additional features, they do make things easier for you. Glad you like them!
Good review, no BS and to the point, I'm sold. From what I see HF light compares to the Maxxeon Cyclops USB Rechargeable Work Light, except HF light is much cheaper......
I have a small magnetic flashlight holder that works really good, it will clamp on most small flashlights, but the problem is the holder cost twice as much as this HF work light, then you still have to buy a small flashlight................
Thanks, and I agree 100%. Yeah, HF nailed it with this light! Like you said, you can't beat the price.
@@EightWheelsRollin I meant to ask, how do you charge the light? I ordered two and looks like they come with charging cable only....
It's a USB adaptor, like your phone. You'll love 'Em!
I left mine on for like 4 hours on the lowest setting while working on a cars audio system . Thats all you need honestly lowest setting . After that use it still has 3 bars
I agree. Typically, the lowest setting will work just fine for any project. Killer light!
@@EightWheelsRollin yes love mine
I have 3. They die SOOOOO fast. But for the price they are worth buying a couple.
Thanks for the comment. For me, the battery life is one of its more impressive features. Mine will last ~4 hours on the highest setting. If I bump it down to the middle or lowest setting I can almost double that. How long is your battery life?
Like 3 hours but I only use high. The other setting don't put out enough light for my taste. Don't get me wrong though I love the lights.
That's still not too bad. I'm with ya, typically I use the high setting. Best light I've ever used for sure...
