Aaaaand, this exactly.
What he does really well is he has a good tone. Most people his age could probably play those notes with practise but to play it as well is a different story.

Im French Horn player so I know that Horn is really hard, rare and weird instrument. I am the only French Horn player in my music school and one of two horns in orchestra. Good Job! ☺
Magic Sisters Where is it rare? Just curious as in East Texas where I reside it's played just as much as all the other brass instruments in the bands here.

If only half my 7 grade brass class could play this well my woodwind class wouldent always be pissed at the brass
Triggered Scrub lol, the brass in my band is pretty good, it's just our saxophones are mostly composed of "popular" kids who's only intent is that it looks cool to play a saxophone but they never practice so we spend 30 minutes a day trying to fix them and the percussion section who keep talking in the back and pissing off my band director 87% of the time

This is only grade 3 (musical grade not school grade). For a grade three player to be improvising this is pretty decent.
