@@Findingrounds He was in possession of heroin. He was at one time using the drug. It is a miracle in itself that Boy is still alive. My uncle died from a heroin overdose. He could never shake that drug. He often told me a person doesn't do heroin, the heroin does them. So for Boy to be alive , better ,stronger and sexier than ever proves he has a strong will and desire to live and be the best Boy George he can be. I admire him . He could easily have gone the other way.

He was britain's Michael Jackson even though they liked MJ more. He'll never have that same popularity that he had in the eighties. So sad!! But people still love him.
I have vague memories of that song that was made (back in the ‘80s) called “just say no” as a campaign to stop kids from getting into drugs and throughout the song various pop stars put their autograph on a big sign that said “just say no”. If she meant it was a good thing that celebs were not being let off crimes because of their fame then that is one thing, but to direct it at someone, especially someone who seems as genuinely nice and misunderstood as Boy George, is very bitchy.
George hasn't always been nice. He even by his own admission has been incredibly rude and bitchy to all kinds of people. You see one George on tv but there's another George few people seem to be able to see. Handcuffing someone to a wall isn't nice.
