Goddamn, Edward had good character development
Absolutely. Unlike most of the other assassins (Ezio, Connor, Arno), Edward is deeply flawed as a person which made him so much more interesting and even loveable. From a purely story telling perspective this has to be the best AC game to date.
Everytime I see the ending of this game, I feel saddened.
Edward Kenway's had quite the life.
True, everyone he knew turned into a traitor or died.

I can't get over how much Harigold and Thatch remind of Trevor. I mean that schooner robbing scene Harigold even moved like Trevor. His body language tone of voice everything.
That's right people this game is so awesome it has 2 Trevors.
I wished the video showed Edward asking Anne what Mary thought of him. It wasn't really a cutscene but it would be nice

TheParalyzer Ooops srry guys Bonnet died becuase when he decided to leave Black Beard/Thatch, Bonnet decided that his little Schooner can take down a man o war, and most of his crew died, be he escaped. The game was definitely the best AC I've ever played. Acting was great, storyline was superb, so much to do, 45 hours of gameplay, deep story, shows the true ending of the pirate golden age. Ended on a high note. This game definitely improved the AC franchise since its gradual slip on AC3. Hopefully Unity will be just as good and Ubisoft continues pumping out these historical games for a long time to come. Edward Kenways definitely my favorite assassin of all. He gave me many laughs. 9.5/10

+Drakelsrd: Heart strings pulled to the max here at that part. I so badly wanted to go somewhere so isolated just so I could scream like a madwoman.

This is the information I gathered from this game and AC: Forsaken - Edward left his first wife Caroline to become a privateer then later became a pirate. He got a letter from England saying his wife passed away and he had a daughter. He then decided to settle down in England to take care of his daughter. While he was in England, he married his 2nd wife, Tessa Kenway and they had Haytham together. When Haytham was 10 years old, Edward and his wife were attacked and killed by a group of mercenaries led by a trusted friend of Edward, Reginald Birch. Birch then kidnapped Jennifer and Haytham and raised Haytham as a templar

In basically every Assassin's Creed game, you make friends and then watch your friends die one by one. And sometimes you have the pleasure of killing them yourself

Evidently when Edward supposedly assassinates Vain at the end if this mission he doesn't actually kill him. Edward beats him up and leaves him on the island hijacking a civilian scooner which had just docked in the area to fish. Vain goes further insane as months pass but he too eventually escapes isla Providencia but is later captured and hung by the British

Aside from Blackbeard, Stede Bonnet was the saddest one to see dead at the table. He wasn't good at pirating, but he gave it a shot because he was inspired by Kenway.

The voice actor of Charles Vane is a childhood friend of my mother, his name's Ralph Ineson and was also in Game of Thrones as Dagmar Cleftjaw. Pretty surreal how someone who grew up not 20 miles away from me is in some pretty decent films/games!

this is seriously one of the saddest video game endings ive ever expierienced ubisoft really got under your skin with the emotion aspect of know thing characters
this is the only assassins creed with characters that I actually liked an got attached to I was sad when they fell

In the game Watch Dogs one of the missions is to kill a man named Olivier who works for Abstergo Entertainment. Notice how he disappears mid game here.
I'd love to see another AC 4 with Connor to redeem AC 3 and to prepare for AC 5. AC 4: Black Flag did its job. Marvelously.

The ending of AC4 was so emotional, I cried the rest of the day, including in my sleep. I feel like AC4 is another version of ACRevelations

i just finished completin this and i had to see the last cutscene again it shocked me alot :O gotta love Ubisoft and there cliffhangers and mystery endings :D makes me wonder what the next one will be good job on there part again!
Didn't know people compile cutscenes like this, pretty cool though. Assassin's Creed Black Flag compilation, I thought this was an outstanding game with good writing.
This was one of the best games ever made of the series, only looses to AC 2.

I was really surprised with this ending. For a long time I thought Stede Bonnet would be a key character in the end. For a long time I thought he was just playing pirate and working for the Templars. I thought he was the biggest Templar and had connections with Duncan Walpole. Wow was I wrong..

I just end Black Flags and i thougt the ending be like others. You kill last templar and thats it, but not here. That last scene where Kidd sitting with others is sad but beautie and that music. Long I won't forget this scene. This is the reason why i love games. Thank You UBI for great game, waiting for UNITY. Sorry for my english

An Assassin' s Creed game that took place from 1930-1947 would be awesome. Have it be like a Depression era/Blitz/Holocaust game in which our Assassin kills targets like Mobsters Drug Dealers and Nazis.
I´m just thinking that a viking assassins creed game would be good, in scandinavia and how they went to Vineland, now called America, they had ships and swords, not theese guns...
