    Superb Review Sir. I test drove hector CVT, DCT both. Loved CVT acceleration. No rubber band or any sort of lag.

    i have been using this car for 3 months and i am extremely with the performance, features & Comfort. while i have no complaints on FE, there is no mechanism to measure the FE from instrumental cluster which is available in Sharp diesel. As Indian customers are mileage sensitive, and this is not MG's USP, MG had removed the interface intentionally. Also this feature available in all international models of Hector but removed in Petrol versions only. secondly I have noticed gaps in dashboard where black and beige are joined and i have taken this up strongly with MG adn MG said these gaps are allowed as design element which is very weird, idiotic and surprising. i never expected this from MG. Also I have taken up with MG on FE interface and again i got a surprise answer to measure FE by tank to tank measurement or refer to Ismart. at the same time MG team acknowledged that Ismart is not yet fully reliable. i have got all the mail communication from MG with me. barring these two issues i am extremely happy with the vehicle.

      @@RealAutoReviews we should take up the issue with MG together on providing FE calculation on instrument panel in Petrol version as provided in diesel version and also on gaps in dashboard. We as user of the car should be able to know the FE from instrument panel and the gaps that i am referring to are prominently appearing in almost all in all Hectors. MG is keeping silent.

    Amazing Review!
    Looking to buy a proper Suv
    With mileage upto 15kmpl on highway,
    You made me to reconsider my decision. Thanks for that.
    BTW any suggestion for a SUV That gives 15kmpl highway mileage, preferably petrol as Governments policy on diesel in future is unclear.
    Thanks in advance 😉

    • @RealAutoReviews
      @RealAutoReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hey thank you so much! That's the best compliment a reviewer can get ❤️🙏 Honestly, a full fledged petrol SUV will never give you 15 km/l. Heck, I just drove the Volvo S60 over 2000 km in the last four days, out of which over 1500 were on empty expressways. It still failed to breach the 15 km/l mark. So you can think how much a big SUV will give. I would suggest that you buy the one that appeals the most to your heart. Don't think about saving money right now; we all would be driving washing machines on wheels (aka EVs) sooner than you would imagine, so let's enjoy the IC engine as much as we can, as long as we can 😃

      I.say this to everyone: Avoid all dual clutch gearboxes (DCTs/DSGs) in India as they are just not suited for our driving conditions. Torque Converters are the best for our conditions, followed by CVTs. Also, wait for the Carens prices to be out and then we'll have this chat again. 😃

    Sir, service cost kaisa hai yearly?

  • @L4-5
    @L4-5 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Any way one thing is for sure. MG HECTOR CVT AT PETROL is a heavy / fully loaded/ huge vehicle which can’t be compared with Creta, Harrier, seltos, Taigun which often the TH-camRS Are doing.
    Customer is getting next level vehicle with hardly a difference of approx. 3 lacs compared with the above mentioned vehicles for eg.
    It’s an SUV with a blend of EUROPEAN DNA 🧬 with Chineese Captain ship which is very much needed to sustain today’s competition. I feel It’s is a nice combination to sustain the market in terms of pricing and also further development of electronics/ software, where the Chinese are good in doing with less cost with out throwing much burden on end users unlike European manufacturers. This is the reason where the Once upon a time Automobile Hero’s like Ford , VW , Honda etc are struggling a lot to launch and sustain the price market like in India so this is the reason I say the Chinese collaboration is needed to give tough fight for Korean car makers. I have explained so much about Chinese collaboration here only as my answer to some YOU TUBERS who are mentioning this car as a CHINESE CAR to promote Negative Propaganda but they don’t know how this CHINESE CAR WILL do wonders in the coming price market
    Wonderful CVT , 18” tyres , 2 nd row ample legroom, 10.4 Infotainment with Internet inside are a very to mention. Huge boot, can be converted into bedroom on long night drives . It’s like getting a LIMOUSINE ! , for the price. Inspite of wonderful mileage.

I am planning to buy this and my city ride is aprox 70% and once in 3-4 months i travel to highway.. so just want bit more clarity specifically on milage in both conditions (city & highways) for CVT and many of them has sais that on highway it bounces a lot and back seat passengers get that bounce which make uncomfortable for them on back seat..
    Little detailed reply will highly appreciated

    • @RealAutoReviews
      @RealAutoReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      See, 1) like I have said in my review, the ride quality is sorted for the most part and it will bounce if your speed is higher than it should be on a rough patch. That said, it is not at all bad by any stretch of imagination. So, yes, it will be a comfortable ride.
      2) Fuel efficiency is not its forte and you will have to be contend with a single digit figure in city. On the highways, driven with a light foot, the FE should increase to 11-12 but that's about it.

    i filled my tank with exact 20 litres and then 3 blue bars were filled.
    i checked i smart app it shows 45% fuel that is 27 litres.

      @RealAutoReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This was a media unit bro, so I didn't get a chance to use the app. I would recommend doing a tankful to tankful to arrive at the correct fuel efficiency figure. So you would fill her up, drive around until the last bar goes off and then again fill her up. Note the km. Now repeat. Note the km. You will have the correct FE figure 😃
