In his teaching, he asked a very important question: why would the Egyptians pursue people in the sea if they're not foolish? The answer is simple, which suggests that his teaching was incorrect.
Exodus chapter 14 verse 4,8 and verse 17 suggested that God hardened the heart of pharaoh so that he will pursue the Israelites. Which means, God decided to end Pharaoh and his wickedness against the people of Israelites by hardened pharaoh's heart and leading him and his people to their destruction.
This is God displaying his power and receiving glory for his victory over pharaoh. ( God's enemy)
Also Read Exodus 14:19-25, this place also suggested that God participate fully in that victory.. "Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel's army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them, coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long. Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh's horses and chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea. During the last watch of the night the LORD looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion. He made the wheels of their chariots come off so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, "Let's get away from the Israelites! The LORD is fighting for them against Egypt."

To address the notion that God is a killer in the Bible, particularly in light of Deuteronomy 32:39, we must consider the broader biblical narrative and theological context. Here is a sound biblical case that emphasizes God's essence as life-giving rather than as a killer:
      1. **God as the Source of Life:**
      - Genesis 2:7: "Then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature."
      - John 1:4: "In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind."
      - These verses highlight that life originates from God. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all life, indicating that His primary nature is to give life.
      2. **Deuteronomy 32:39 Context:**
      - Deuteronomy 32:39 states, "See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god beside me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand."
      - The context of this verse is a song of Moses, addressing the sovereignty of God over all aspects of existence. The language is poetic, emphasizing that God holds ultimate authority over life and death, but it does not mean He takes pleasure in death or seeks to kill.
      3. **God's Desire for Life:**
      - Ezekiel 18:32: "For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!"
      - 2 Peter 3:9: "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
      - These verses reveal God's desire for people to turn to Him and live. His primary aim is for repentance and life, not death.
      4. **Jesus as the Revelation of God's Nature:**
      - John 10:10: "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
      - Hebrews 1:3: "The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word."
      - Jesus' mission and life demonstrate God's true nature, which is to give life abundantly. Jesus' actions and teachings are in alignment with God's life-giving essence.
      5. **Judgment and Natural Consequences:**
      - Often, what is perceived as God 'killing' in the Old Testament can be understood as the natural consequences of sin and rebellion. God’s justice involves allowing people to face the repercussions of their choices.
      - Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
      - This demonstrates the principle that sin leads to death, but God's gift is life.
In summary, while Deuteronomy 32:39 acknowledges God's sovereign power over life and death, the overall biblical narrative emphasizes that God is fundamentally a giver of life. His desire is for people to live, repent, and receive the abundant life offered through Jesus Christ. The portrayal of God as a killer misunderstands the context and the broader message of the Bible, which consistently reveals God’s life-giving and loving nature.

If God will have to kill you because of something in time, he wouldn't have allowed you to exist in the first place, since He knows the end from the beginning.
God doesn't change his mind. If he allowed you to come into existence in the first place, then he really wanted you to live and he won't change that by Killing you.

This verse highlights the temporary nature of God's anger, contrasted with the enduring nature of His favor and love. It's a reminder that even in the midst of discipline or correction, God's ultimate desire is to restore us to Himself and shower us with His mercy and grace.
The phrase "his anger is but for a moment" also emphasizes the fleeting nature of God's wrath, compared to the eternal nature of His love and forgiveness. It's a comforting thought, knowing that God's anger is not a permanent state, but rather a temporary response to our sin and rebellion

the Egyptians saw God's miracles and still didn't believe in God, and even the Israelites themselves were doubtful after witnessing those miracles firsthand. This statement actually reinforces the idea that miracles alone don't have the power to produce saving faith.
Let's consider the biblical narrative: despite witnessing the ten plagues and the parting of the Red Sea, the Egyptians did not come to believe in the God of Israel. In fact, they pursued the Israelites even after these incredible displays of power (Exodus 14:4-9). Similarly, the Israelites themselves frequently doubted and disobeyed God despite experiencing His miracles. For instance, after witnessing the plagues and the parting of the Red Sea, they still doubted God's provision and protection in the wilderness (Exodus 16:2-3, 17:2-3).
Moreover, in the New Testament, Jesus performed many miracles, yet not everyone who witnessed them came to saving faith. In John 12:37, it says, "Even after Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him." This indicates that seeing miracles did not lead to genuine faith.
Some might point to passages where people believed after seeing Jesus' miracles, such as John 2:23: "Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name." However, this belief was often superficial. John 2:24-25 clarifies this: "But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person." Their belief was based on the signs rather than a deep, transformative faith.
True saving faith is described in Romans 10:17: "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ." This highlights that faith comes from the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit, not merely from witnessing miracles.
Furthermore, in Luke 16:31, Jesus tells the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, concluding with Abraham saying, "If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead." This underscores that the Scriptures, not miracles, are what lead people to genuine faith.
So, while miracles can capture attention and serve as signs pointing to God's power, they do not have the power to bring about the deep, saving faith required for salvation. That kind of faith comes from a personal encounter with God through His Word and the inner working of the Holy Spirit.

@@divinearchispiration3483so what brings people to believe the gospel? If someone chooses not to believe, it's a choice. That doesn't mean that miracles don't make people believe the Gospel, that's a very false claim. A lot of people have believed due to miracles.
Believing is a choice, even when Jesus comes back in glory, some people will still rebel.
The Gospel is Preached worldwide, but people will still choose not to believe. That doesn't mean hearing the Gospel doesn't make people believe.

      @divinearchispiration3483 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@alvinukwuagu7606 Firstly, I agree that belief is a choice and that the Gospel has the power to bring people to salvation. However, my point about miracles was rooted in the broader biblical context. While miracles can draw attention and inspire faith in some cases, they don't always lead to lasting belief or salvation. Here are a few examples from the Bible to illustrate this:
Pharaoh's Hardened Heart: Despite witnessing numerous miraculous signs and plagues, Pharaoh repeatedly hardened his heart against God (Exodus 7-12).
Israelites in the Wilderness: After experiencing the miraculous parting of the Red Sea and God's provision in the wilderness, many Israelites still grumbled, rebelled, and showed unbelief (Numbers 14:11-12).
Jesus' Ministry: Jesus performed many miracles, yet many people, including some who witnessed these miracles firsthand, did not believe in Him. In John 12:37, it says, "Even after Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him."
Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus: In Luke 16:31, Jesus tells the story of the rich man and Lazarus, concluding with, "If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead."
Additionally, Jesus warned about false prophets who would perform miracles and signs to deceive, if possible, even the elect (Matthew 24:24). This underscores that while miracles can draw people's attention, they are not the core of the Christian faith.
These examples suggest that while miracles can support and affirm faith, they are not the primary means by which people come to salvation. The key factor is the work of the Holy Spirit in a person's heart, bringing conviction and understanding of the Gospel. Romans 10:17 says, "Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ."
So, while miracles can play a role and have indeed led some to believe, the primary agent of salvation is the preaching of the Gospel and the response of faith to that message. As you rightly pointed out, people have the choice to believe or not, regardless of the evidence or miracles they might see.
I appreciate your insights and the opportunity to clarify my point. It's a deep and important discussion, and I'm glad we can explore it together.

The implication of the story as the shadow of Christ is that CHRIST will judge all disobedience applying John 5:39; Luke 24:27;44 and Matthew 11:13...

Abel Damina's statement is likely based on a nuanced understanding of the biblical account in Exodus 14. While the Bible says that God parted the Red Sea and led the Israelites to safety, it was actually the natural consequence of the Egyptians chasing the Israelites into the sea, combined with the natural phenomenon of the tidal change, that led to the Egyptian army's demise.
In this sense, Abel Damina is correct that it was not a direct act of God killing the Egyptians, but rather a consequence of their own actions and the natural course of events. However, the biblical account still attributes the deliverance of the Israelites to God's power and intervention.
It's important to note that Abel Damina's teachings often emphasize the love and mercy of God, and he may be highlighting the idea that God's nature is not to destroy, but to save and redeem.

God created the firmament but there was no where it was written that he created devastating storms in the six days of creation.
Due to sin of mankind who was a sort of portal to the system of the earth, the world and the whole of creation became corrupted. Everything started dying. This led to the storms, earthquakes, natural disasters of every kind, degradation of of the atmosphere e.t.c
All this was as a result of Adam's sin😢
God had no hand in it.
In fact rain itself is a result of sin. There was no rain in the beginning. The firmaments conditioned the earth and allowed plants to grow. The first rain that fell CUASED THE FLOOD.

Heresy! First of all, Heb 11 was not chronological because in verse 28 he spoke above keeping the sprinkling of blood which was what set them apart as the people of God and pointed to the blood of Christ. This they observed all through the wilderness..
So this argument by Damina is baseless

    • @SpotlightContent
      @SpotlightContent  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

That's a great observation! But let dig in to your honest observation... Hebrews 11 is indeed considered a chronological chapter, and the mention of the sprinkling of blood in verse 28 is a key indicator of its chronological structure.
Hebrews 11 is often referred to as the "Hall of Faith" or the "Faith Chapter," and it presents a series of examples of Old Testament figures who demonstrated remarkable faith. The chapter is organized in a roughly chronological order, starting with Abel (v. 4) and moving through the patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob), Joseph, Moses, and finally the prophets.
The mention of the sprinkling of blood in verse 28 refers to the Passover, which is a key event in Israel's history that occurred during the Exodus from Egypt. This event is described in Exodus 12, where the Israelites were instructed to sprinkle the blood of a lamb on their doorposts to avoid the plague of the firstborn.
By mentioning the sprinkling of blood in Hebrews 11:28, it is likely indicating that the events described in the chapter up to that point are leading up to the Exodus, which is a pivotal moment in Israel's history. This supports the idea that the chapter is structured chronologically, with each example building on the previous one to demonstrate the progression of faith throughout Israel's history. I hope it's clear

@@SpotlightContent You miss the point. Chronological or not, my contention was the lame argument by Damina that Heb 11 was silent about the 40 years the Israelites spent in the wilderness because there was no act of Faith during those period. This is baseless and fallacious. First, because even the reference to the Passover in verse 28 was a tradition throughout their stay in the wilderness, observed yearly..

"To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever:

To say it wasn't God that killed the first born and divided the red sea is misleading

    • @SpotlightContent
      @SpotlightContent  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

Abel Damina's statement is based on his understanding of God's nature as loving and merciful, and his belief that God does not kill or punish. Instead, he might argue that the death of the firstborn sons of Egypt was a consequence of their own actions, or a natural result of the Israelites' obedience to God's command to mark their doorposts with blood.
Abel Damina's perspective emphasizes God's love and mercy, and suggests that God's desire is to save and redeem, rather than to punish or destroy. He may be highlighting the idea that God is a God of life, not death, and that He desires a personal relationship with each person, rather than seeking to harm or punish.
It's important to note that this interpretation is different from the traditional understanding of the biblical account, and may not be universally accepted among religious scholars and communities.

some things taught in schools are purely for academic purposes and to confirm or dispute truths. They only get adopted after rigorous scrutiny and when made to under go further research. For instance there can be a postulation that helll is not real and an argument is put forth. Grabbing the logics and running with it to achieve popularity is dangerous. It doesn't change the word of God. William Braham was more logical in his argument and presentation. He met his demise. anything that takes you from winning souls is a waste.of time. we will only continue to know in parts. Mind you the real scholars don't seek this kind of publicity they bury themselves research works and books.

The Spirit of error has taken over Abel Damina. Christian that are not mature should not listen to him before they will be caught up with this decieving spirit. The Scripture Exodus 15:3 says God is a Man of War. First of all Jesus cannot change the nature of his Father it is not posible. Jesus just came first as a Sheep of sacrifice i. e the mercy aspect of God but there is also a Judgement aspect of God when he is coming as a Lion of the tribe of Israel. Even in his first coming he cursed the fig tree, The pharesis, and Judas iscarior that led to his death, what of the HolySpirit he cursed Annais and sapharir to death by the mouth of Apostle peter

2nd peter 1vs 20-21 says the Bible is not subject to any private/personal interpretation. For him to be the only one with all these heresies means he is wrong. Over the years people have preached the Gospel and most of the preachers preached the same messages. Is he saying every other preacher is wrong and he is right. All these his messages will die a natural death. He is teaching from his brain and not from the HOLY SPIRIT. People had written Commentaries on the Bible and non is in sync with what he is teaching, unfortunately some of his followers are following Blindly. I know of someone who goes about drinking and fornicating just because Abel damina told them once saved always saved.

When they crossed God ordered Moses to close the red sea.

He is HALF-RIGHT sir . . . . the challenge with Dr damina is that He is trying to fit the entire scripture into ONE THING ignoring the other aspects of the scripture, Hence giving a view or picture that is not consistent with what is written and revealed in the scripture which breeds confusion in the hearts of the people and makes him look like a heretic and a false preacher which in all honesty HE'S NOT. (Regardless of our opinion)
HIS PROBLEM IS LIKE THAT OF "APOLLOS" who knew the scripture very well, spoke with great power, taught the truth about Jesus BUT ONLY knew John's baptism just that he has gone a bit further to TRY TO MAKE THE SCRIPTURES CONFORM TO HIS UNDERSTANDING/BELIEFS (making it say what its not saying or suppose to say) Which is wrong.
If he only preached Christ and him crucified (Which is all he has chosen to know like paul) without making or saying what the scripture is not saying, no1 would have had any issue with him or what he's teaching but he consistently tries to MAKE THE SCRIPTURE SAY WHAT ITS NOT SAYING which is totally wrong and unacceptable.
All we just need to do is keep praying for him, because he's still God's vessel and his heart is in the right place just that, HE'S MISGUIDED.
      Its well.
