I have 1000s of baby worms inside my castings in the bottom of my worm factories. How do I get them out? They really aren't in the top feeding bin as much. It is compacted I have three. So about 100lbs of castings. Beautiful castings btw. I gotta suggest adding biochar and inoculating it. I just got my UWB yesterday for my Canadian night crawlers. HUGE.
Interesting, my version 2 bag does not have a zipper. Just the cover attached with velcro and I leave it off any way. You don't sieve your worms out of the castings?
Is the consistency of your harvest due to the fact that you use coco coir as a bedding? I've watched World Composting's channel, and his harvest looks a lot wetter and muddier. Is it because he uses purely paper and cardboard?
I really don't like the design here, harvest is so messy and you need to get down on your hands and knees. Not the case with the Hungry Bin. Also, when fully packed and a substantial colony of worms are inside it gets far too heavy to move around. Again, fixed with the Hungry Bin (which is one wheels).
Well done Urban Worm Bag.. and great job Crazy Worm Lady!! Picture perfect results. Keep up the good work
That is so impressive! Much dryer than I anticipated it would be. I'm just now starting my UWBv2.
Texasperated I was thrilled!
Me too

Looks like your entire bag is ready to harvest!
Da Kine Garden Stuff I know, right?
Great video. Nicely setup so we could see the emptying of the bag. Well done!
Supreme Gecko thanks! I am glad it came through okay!
Nice castings. Thanks for sharing.
What keeps the entire contents of the bag from just dumping through when the latch is opened?
Great video!
Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for sharing. Finally seeing someone empty the bag.
How does the Vermibag hold up to this? Both seem quite nice
Why do you freeze the food?
I love the flow-thru bags. These casting are just beautiful. 👍

Wonderful success!
Living the Dream thank you!
Beautiful Castings! I think the UWB is the easiest system to harvest 👍
Nice looking worms. Mine are getting better I got to use some of them to go fishing the other day.
The Wright's Trapping how awesome!! Glad to hear it.
Great harvest. The only issue I had with my UWB is getting the contents to drop down. Still waiting.
Lilia Kogan we will see, hopefully mine cooperate.
Im looking to set one of these up, will be my first worm bin... How many worms would you suggest to get it started?
Do you have a video showing what this looks like a week later after feeding?
I
