- There is immense relief in Northern Zimbabawe for the community of a child who has been found alive 5 days after he went missing in the wilderness. 8-years-old Tinotendu Pudu wandered 23 kms away from home and was lost, on his own amidst the Matusadona game park. Its home to an array of wild animals including lions and other big cats. FRANCE 24's correspondent, Sharon Mazingayo has more.

Education is not just in a classroom. The boy knew enough to survive where most adults would perish.
Facts!!
Especially this adult...me!!
@@hellonomasonto
I agree
True !
I was thinking the same …
I would’ve died of Fear’ of thinking I’m All Alone in that Wilderness !😮
I can’t imagine how he felt, running after the park ranger, not catching up to him, only to see him disappear. Sorry little man. Glad you’re safe now ❤
Wow that would've been difficult
Poor sweet boy. I’m so glad he’s alive. I pray for a swift mental recovery, and for a positive mindset on this for him.
Even the lions had amazement at how he survived
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂❤
😂
Chll bro 🤣🤣🤣🥴😳
Little Dude has his life made if he writes a bio and gets a movie made about him. What a little hero.
Unfortunately they’d probably take his story and make him white. Oh wait that’s Tarzan 🤔😩✅
Omg I would love to hear about his story later on in life, what a strong baby boy, would defo watch.
It's gonna be called "Eye of the lion".
When God is with you even if you walk in the valley of deaths He will protect you
What has God got to do with this? What about those that died in similar situations?
Tinotendu survived due to his brains and capability. God is a skydaddy fairy tale. Grow up and engage with reality.
Lions are not interested in eating humans.
He will become the village cheif!
God is the one in control
He is a little Daniel💯 God sent an Angel to him❤
Wow, it's true 🙏❤️
This!!
Maybe God has work for him to do, that's why he protects him, amen 🙏
And his name, Tinotenda, means "we give thanks"
Exactly little Daniel
What a smart and brave boy, glad he's back unharmed!
Wow thank you God for keeping him safe !
So why didn't God just prevent the little bloke from getting lost and in harms way to begin with. 😂😂
Was he too busy giving other kids aids and cancers?
@nguetsenguete417 So when women and children get assaulted. God is then is not with them?
Shouldn’t you be thanking the ones that TAUGHT him how to stay safe instead? Way to put down humans...
This boy has more stories to tell than all the elders in my family combined
😂
😂
The elders will always have stories , and most of it fabricated
@@sharon4christ957lol😂tales by moonlight 😂
😂😂😂😂
This is a miracle no other explanation
Amen God is God when He wants to lift you up he do wonders when you meet God something unusual must happen ❤
Maybe he was just a really smart and lucky boy?
Jesus.
@@privillegechikarahow did his smartness keep the animals from spotting him? Certainly he kept himself fed , hydrated . Where he slept is said to have been high but pitched rocks which really wouldn't have kept most of the animals from attacking him. He also didn't know where he was for it to be said,he knew which areas kept which animals and made sure to stay clear of them.
So unless you have more it seems to be a miracle.
There are more explanations, but you are only a Christian, so your mind is limited.
Found little human footsteps😭God bless you Tino❤
That line was so cute 🥰 little footsteps ❤️💜🩵🩷💚❤️
This child was not alone God was with him there's no way even for an adult to survive that long in the wilderness especially in Africa, there's a jungle out there with all sorts of wild things
There ARE ways. He just needed to be smarter than you.
God sent a personal angel to this boy
What, after he caused him to get lost in the woods? LOL, ridiculous. He survived because he is smart and capable.
@@DReardon-hq2vb No God saved the boy. doesn't matter if you don't believe. God is wonders of wonders.
A guardian angel.
@DReardon-hq2vb Sometimes God allows things to happen to you both good and bad. 🤷🏽♀️
Ameen
I saw a video with a million and five comments of testimonies about kids getting lost in the wilderness and animals sleeping with them and keeping them safe. From beavers, to wolves, bears, it's a wild world! I believe they can sense the innocence of children, be it human or animal, and have the instinct to protect. Nature is so beautiful.
I’m so glad I found it! There are 12K comments, it’s hours of the coolest stories ever!
Me too even a child boy slept with a bear in woods that was a stunning a story
Like humans, it depends on the individual. Most predatory species will simply kill and eat but there are some who have a nice nature and instead of hunting and eating young ones they protect them instead.
This isn’t a Disney movie , he just wasn’t seen by a lion he got lucky
Can we watch it on TH-cam? What's the title? ❤
Can you imagine? to live that ordeal as a little kid and survive to tell that tale? I just can imagine how he felt at night. The same thing our ancestors lived everyday thousands of years ago.
Not thousands of years 😂 maybe 150 years ago
@@gideonmoseri4850 I'm pretty sure it is more dangerous where you live right now than 150 years ago in Africa. Word.
@@gideonmoseri4850 150 years? Are you really being serious?
@@asterio8405You do realise that the wildlife density was much higher 150 years ago right?
@@wilsonmpesha904 ok, where are the stats to back that up? do you realize there are animals that were at the brink of extinction in the 1800's and even before but came back in the late 1900's? elephants, lions, rhinos, hyenas... that's just in Africa, how about bisons and wolves in north america and europe almost wiped out in the 1800's too? When I talk about that kid's experience, I'm talking about the time when humans were not on top of the food chain. Humans have been on top of the animal kingdom long before the Egyptians and sumerians were around the block man... how long ago do you think was that?
When God wants to protect you, nothing can harm you.
Amen! He's a real life Daniel in the lion's den lol.
💯
Amen.
@mrs.carter4775 👍🏾
Saying things like this is just sickening to say when innocent people are kidnapped and murdered everyday
A wildlife genius in the making. Congratulations young man!
Amazing childhood training! His family raised a walker! 🎉❤many hugs for that kiddo!
You surely don't know anything about African families, they are going to beat him up instead of hugs
His nickname is Daniel (from Bible). I’m so glad he was discovered. I’m American who did safari in East Africa. All the people are so kind helpful and beautiful. I love Africa her people and her animals
We love you also❤❤❤
@@WillardMusa-q8gAfricans think they are better than Black Americans.
Amazing young man! That just shows the resilience of the African people. The ability to survive in very difficult situations
We’ve been doing it for HUNDREDS of Thousands of years.
Nothing new.
MILLIONS of years. MILLIONS
It's called luck.
@@annewas46 this situation, yes, but you’re only alive because of the people who did this day in day out for hundreds of of thousands of years

His family taught him what to do to survive, all people should learn and teach such skills! I am so happy he is ok!
Glory be to God, this is excellent . He is a hero , legend. Thanks to all who helped especially the rangers and the community
That’s a film waiting to be made!
I love my creative people
True as long as the film makers won't take advantage of the young dude
@@dafterwitness8766 it would most likely be a reanctmant with an actual child actor. Plus at his age nothing can be done without consent of his parents
You mean a film that would probably be acted my an American child posing as a Zimbabwean child speaking wakanda kind of English 🤦♀️
@@QueenP. not neccessarily. I can't wait for Zimbabwean cinematographers to make that film.
Bless his little heart a true little warrior. ❤
👏 He used the skills he was taught. He ate wild fruits. Dug a little well in the river to drink. And slept on high rocks to stay safe from the animals.
Wish him and his family the best.
Chances of Surviving are close to zero, wild dogs leopards lions hyenas crocodiles and many more are out there to kill you. This boy is a miracle. I am zimbabwean i know without Jesus i would never survive in national parks those areas are locked fenced for good reason no one is suppose to be there without park rangers
@@kudzaimuguti5055he was basically on the menu for everything indeed he is very fortunate. All those animals missed him
@@hlonisoulo3033 he is a wonder coz those animals can sniff you out. God was with that boy. My question is how the boy got into the park ?
Are you normal,we are talking about the child here, you think he has seen life the way an adult did,is just 8 and you come with your racial slayers here, just like in the states police consider black children as an adult when prosecuting them in courts of law, you are lucky it's not your child who got lost in the game Park with all sorts of wild animals in the park
@@kudzaimuguti5055 im also zimbabwean bt tht jesus praise doesnt fit into this story..please dnt embarass us with your ultra religiosity!!
So glad he got home safe. Such a smart little boy who followed his teachings and instincts 🙏🩵
Teach them when they are young the truth, realities and survival tactics of the world.
Beautiful soul, God Almighty is faithful always. 😢😢
His name Tinotenda means thank you Lord
It means ‘Thank You’.
Not thank you Lord.
@@enb00025 Y'all tripping. It means "We give thanks"

Yes you are right, Tino=We and tenda= give thanks
No lord anywhere in actual name translation.
Nah - it means “we are thankful” not thank you Lord 😂
Jesus is amazing, he kept this little angel.
God protected him. So brave. He will get to tell his children and grandchildren of this. His family should record him giving his story.
Congratulations to his family first, and then to all of us
I'm speechless though I'm happy for good news to the family I can't imagine sleeping home without my child
We need to hear the boy telling this story of how he survived.
lil bro now got a cool story to tell his grandkids. 🔥
Incredible how this Little 8 year old Boy has used , and Recalled, ‘Taught’ Knowledge to stay safe in the Wild ‘for 8 days !
Amazing ! 👌👌👌🙌🙌
5 days he survived.
Thank God he was found safely. Blessings to all who had a part in his rescue. What a lucky boy!
This Baby had a guardian angel. He’s a little hero.
Respect!
I needed some positive, wholesome recommendations on my feed. What a great story in all the darkness. 🙏🏾
A modern day Daniel! God bless you and keep you little man ❤️
Amazing tracking work by the rangers. True pros!
Little human footprints 👣 💙
This is amazing. What a resourceful little boy. Im so happy he is ok. ❤
Oh my goodness 🙏🏾 Thank goodness he was found ❤ Truly an origin story, can’t wait to see what super hero he turns into 😅
We truly need an interview with the boy. I hope the world can hear his story, through his own words
Legend has it the boy is now named….Simba 🦁
He was being guided by the ancestors
Mwari does wonderful things
Kudos to the parents for all the knowledge that helped him to survive 5 days in the wikderness
Yes he was guided by the dead people
He wasn’t guided by no one. He is was lucky that his lil head wasn’t ripped off by a lion
@@fighterforlife5284luck is a word to describe what you dont understand 😂 spirits are real in Africa ask locals
He knew survival skills, this is something every parent should be taught to teach their kids at an early age.
A story worth publishing and watching on big screens🎉
Zimbabwe is serious safari country and Matusadonha is PACKED with thousands of lions and leopards. It's AMAZING how he survived. I can imagine his family outside the park beating drums for him continually to guide him home😢.
I imagine him digging little wells on river beds to get water even risking being eaten by crocodiles and animals coming to drink water. Amazing story worthy of a movie!!!!!
In the developing world people are taught life skills and how to survive as soon as they can comprehend because life is not so straightforward, good on the little man!
Amazing story....God was with that boy. Modern day miracle. To God be the glory.
He's got the best campfire story for life, guaranteed.
I love how theyvare all taught how to survive ij the environment they are in
Such a little hero 🫶🏼 made me proud of being human 🙏🏻
Great work villagers, you give your children great care. Well done Tinotendu Pudu for behaving in an excellent manner in the wild. Respect your people and the environment.
God is there guys, happy for young Tino
If we taught martial arts to children in the US, along with the sort of survival skills taught by organizations such as the Scouts, we would also be protecting our children. What a good job they are doing in his village.👍🏻🔥👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Martial arts skills are useless against a lion or a rhino.
Safer that being in Cape Town at night.

Welcome back Tarzan
Oh respect to the adults who taught this boys things that matter
He’s so lucky poor kid!!!
It's like Daniel 2.0 glad he's safe 😊
Wow when God looks after you 🙏🏾
This was all the Grace and Mercy of God, nothing more. He was protected by God the kid has no answer as to how he survived. Just give God all the glory
That's right people want the boy the young man to do an interview he doesn't know like you said. People refuse to acknowledge God. I encourage you and all to keep God's commandments laws and statutes and know that we're not just a big blue ball out in space floating out here. Peace and blessings take care.
What an incredible story of survival especially for a child ❤
What a great story! This child is a survivor and should make his family very proud. I could not imagine how terrifying this must have been being lost like that.
Wow. Incredible story of survival. So glad he's OK.
What an awesome kid! Great job, little guy!
Amazing glad he survived and is safe, God Bless
What a smart little boy.
The Bible never lied, when it talks about Daniel in the lion’s den
Wow That’s some serious Angelic protection there Thank you Lord for protecting this child Amen
❤ Thank you ❤
What a brilliant child!
23km😮 . Thank the Lord
God looks out for His little ones. Praise be to His name
Yeah like all the other little ones on that continent. Get outta here man this attitude is so disgusting.
Wow!!!!!!!!!! What a miracle!
I'm not surprised the lions didn't show any interest in a harmless child wandering on their territory. Unless the kid actually approached them/the lions were extremely hungry, there's really not much appeal to attacking and eating a scrawny human to a lion. But it is truly impressive that the kid survived 5 days with no food and water outside of what he was able to find out in nature. Not a good idea to wander off so far by yourself of course, but at least he's a survivor.
Lil Bro saw Mufasa and lived to tell the story
God's miracle 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️
Wow, what a relief that youngun knew how to survive.
Wow god blessed him
Lions are vicious, hungry and very territorial, they know who is in their neighborhood, only God can shut a lions mouth, praise Jesus for this.
Well done Tino we’re all proud to have you back 🇿🇼❤❤
Thank God!!! He is a strong young man🙏🏾💕
African kid..... no wonder.... I expect him to be tough , smart and well aware of real nature around him. Standing applause to the kid!!!!
Amazing. Beautiful story ❤️
Since he is 8 years he can talk about his ordeal,How did he survived in the wilderness for five days, what strategies did he used, what animals did he encountered if any,I am sure he did encounter some or at least came close,if not he heard them roaring, that would help your audience a lot.
Give the child a chance to recoup lol sheesh
@ataurusqueenofzion916 yeah, but people would like to hear about him anyway.
That's the African Spirit in him, his Ancestors were protecting him. Is there cameras around the park?
This should be made into an animation/movie, to entertain and educate young children. Survival. I can see the vision for it.
That young man is going places
God was with this young child. YY Jesus! Smart young man!
Daniel in the Lions Den part 2! Thank the Lord for his protection. 👏🏾🙏🏾

Animals in Africa respect life!!! They don't just kill!!
Go make a tour alone in the park to confirm that theory
