Good video great information. However you should explain that there are two different types of drill bits for concrete. A bit for use in a hammer drill is useless in a plain rotary drill motor.
Thank you for this wonderful step by step video. Are you aware of a drop ceiling system that doesn't require any vertical support? I'm interested in installing a drop ceiling in an office addition of two 8x9 ft offices where I'm using translucent and ventilated tiles to allow light and heat into the room. I don't want there to be anything showing above the drop ceiling as the rest of the building has 20 ft vaulted ceilings with skylights, whereas the two offices will have the lower drop ceilings, so any brackets and bracing would be unsightly when looking above the offices, from the rest of the building. Thank you for any suggestions!
Vinyl sheets on concrete walls in a basement ? I could bet that after a year there will be a mold between those sheets and concrete. The walls and back of those sheets will be soaking wet. I have seen several basements finished with vinyl sheets and always was the case: a lots of moisture trapped behind those vinyl sheets.
You did quite show how the cross t’s snap into the main rails. They don’t just push in, you have to angle the cross t upwards on the other end, then then bring it down until you hear a click. THAT is the hard part of the installation.
Watched a few videos on this topic... This by far is the BEST video! 🙌🙌🙌
THANK YOU
I have been waiting for a guide on this from someone I can trust. Thank you.
Hi Ron , this reminds me of our classrooms at school back in the 1980s ! 😊🛠
You have every home improvement topic covered. Excellent channel!
Your Sir, are my Hero! 👍
I would never install a suspended ceiling like this in a home. Too industrial. BUT, I still watched all 10m35s. You’re a pro, Ron!
Best explanation I've seen! Thank you! Answered all my questions!
Amazing video! Knocked it out of the park!
Awesome job well done
Excellent video demonstration! So thorough and done ✅️ right...Thank you!

What is the r value of those tiles? Can you buy tiles with additional insulation built in? thanks
tho im no longer active framer/carpenter and have snapped many a line, i would never even consider a ceiiling, floor, siding, etc. without a laser
A dramatic difference indeed: In the ceiling height!
Great video
