That homie behind the tree is probably the character we play as after Lamu kills everyone, because we also spawn behind a tree.
That actually makes so much sense also because, we have plenty of lore to unlock just like with Amanda the Adventurer
I immediately thought that too, glad I wasn't the only one
and also the fact that tasha's scream was the first thing we heared right after. because the tree tasha was killed was a few trees away, she was obviously the closest as well.

I also have a theory about the first ending, where the player drives away in the car.
I think what they mean by the fact that the killer was apprechanded is that the Player basically ran over Lamu, killing him, which means that the problem is basically dealt with. The ending is also called "Roadkill" so that would make sence. Also in the newspaper it said that they won't reveal any details because, well, it's a killer lama with human teeth, they don't want the public to panic.

Honestly lamu you could tell it was evil from the beginning because how it’s eyes are placed on front of the face (indication of predator) versus the normal prey
There's also the fact that he's "hungry" but only eats their heads, and barely even touched the dog.

The lore is that a dad was experimenting on something- a dad combined his son and an actual lama- I think some evil doctor type shit- and that “lama” u played as was lamu, u see everything as a cartoon and happy go friendly- eating “fruits” and what not- because the dad’s son was still a child- in addition, lamas are herbivores- and humans are omnivores- fruits aren’t going to fill u up- so the child deceives itself into thinking it’s eating “fruits” but in reality- he’s eating ppl- meat, and when u got the jump scare from the lama at the car- u can see it has a human face🧍♀️
